  1. my question is what is better mitigation: having the extra armor at all times or 20% more absorption on blade barrier? is the 4 pcs (20% more absorption for sonic barrier) worth keeping over 2x 78 armorings? I'd be swapping them out potentially in the chest/leg/helm slots since the armor values are greater on those for some reason (+73 armor each pc).
  2. Bottom line is i'm ok with mara's and snipers being better at DPS, but it should be competitive regardless of having the option to tank or heal. Only being able to clear content by bringing a specific grouping of classes is ridiculous. 4 PT DPS should be able to clear all content in game based on player skill, not class and mechanics limitations
  3. just curious if I should go 4/4 of the actual jugg set or get the 2/4 mara set. it's a matter of swapping 8% damage on force scream vs ravage
  4. Powertech dps is where jugg tanking was prior to 1.2, viable but has to work so much harder to hit the mediocre level. I'm curious to see if a group would struggle bring 4 pyro to a raid
  5. They could have at least reduced incendiary missile heat cost to 16ish so it was easier to maintain without using the default attack more than any other class to keep our resource use healthy. My commando barely has to use the default attack. The bottom line is 4 pyro PTs should be able to clear all content
  6. burnout is a talent, not an ability. the OP said powertechs get it which should mean ALL specs, not just 28 points pyrotechs
  7. you've never played a marauder then, they get more defensive abilities than even a jugg tank. check it out :/
  8. i took a break from TOR for a few months and came back and is it a known bug that shien and shii-cho (6% and 3% respectively) dont apply their damage bonus to the character sheets anymore? it used to up both your melee min/max and your force damage, but no longer does. just hoping it's a display bug and not actually a damage loss due to bug
  9. Math isn't needed....mouse over armor in your character sheet and it will tell you it reduces damage done from energy and kinetic damage. Therefore internal/elemental damage ignore armor but are still subject to resistances
  10. i thought taunt did zero threat but makes a target not attacking you focus on you and while taunt is up, only you are able to generate threat on that target
  11. i was respeccing today and i noticed that the eviserate talent in the vengence tree starts off saying "impale has a 50% chance to cause the target to bleed for 389 internal damage over 6 seconds." if i put a second point into it it raises it to 100% chance is 391 damage.... yay for an extra 2 points of damage over 6 seconds, is that a bug?
  12. how about they just make retaliation a high threat ability or give a small threat buff for X seconds? it's similar to revenge in WoW minus the extra threat
  13. i've found it harder to level as a jugg than the other classes i've played. warrior is the only class without CC or healing so you're pretty much pingeonholed to use quinn (healer) as your companion once you get to the harder hitting content that seems to start on tatooine. if/when you do play jugg i highly suggest going biochem to heal you and your companion. it's fun and frustrating at the same time. oh and be readyt o get used to mashing some abilities as they dont fire off as they're supposed to which is on the bug list. also in PvP you're gonna have to get used to getting singled out by all the snipers and sorcs since they can easily kite you every 15 seconds and keep themselves alive. i know they'll never been able to balance PvP and PvE but it seems like i come across more unicorns on my server in BGs than warriors, either adv class. just my 2 cents
  14. boss drops are BoP but you can still luck out and get BoE blues from elite trash
