  1. every map has a time limit of some sort (I'm assuming civil war does, but I don't know it), the novare is 30mins and was discovered when 8v8s were going on and turtle comps was the norm. Essentially 30mins of neither side capping mid, with a tiebreaker based on deaths just like voidstar's
  2. this bug only seems to affect the speccing after the forced respec (and I think only if you kept your same spec as it places the ability back in it's original spot on your bar, and then readded it). All my other respecs afterwards didn't seem to have this happen. So after today or after whenever people finish respeccing it's going to be a non-issue.
  3. Hey folks!

The answer to your question may not be what you are expecting, it is actually technical limitation which is causing the Gree currency to be character bound. Within our current system we had a few options:

    • The items are character bound and stackable (the way it works currently)
    • The items are non-stackable and bound to Legacy. (we did not choose this option to avoid a cargo bay somewhere full of currency)

Those were our options from a tech standpoint and our justification for the decision we made. Hope that makes sense!

just to clarify.... aren't the cartel market certificates both BoL and stackable? I realize it went through a few iterations to make it that way (they were first stackable and BoP, then they were BoL and not stackable, but now they're BoL and stackable)

I'm ultimately indifferent either way. I think the current implementation is fine especially since the things you buy are BoL, but I guess I just wanted to point out that not all items fit those 3 descriptions.

  4. Can i go on your next OPs run? I don't have any PvE gear, I don't know the maps or the boss mechanics and I don't want to take any time to learn or aquire what I need/need to know.

Seriously that is exactly what it boils down too.

You got your bolster, removed a enjoyable part of the game for some of us (some of us actually liked the gear grind), just quit posting this rehashed crap that makes the entitlement generation feel better about themselves.

we carry people all the time in GF Ops runs all the time due to lack of skill and lack of gear. And people to do group finder without any gear or knowledge of the boss mechanics. Yes GF has a vote kick feature but that's more because 3 hours with someone who doesn't know what they're doing in an Ops leads to endless wipes with no end in sight. In a warzone win or lose you come out with comms, daily completion and is roughly 15mins of pain. As for gear grind, partisan/conquerer is perfectly fine for GF ops. It's only HM/NiM you need to have gear checks but that's when you're putting the group together, same when you do ranked.

So if people can do GF Ops just fine in pvp gear, why can't people have a helping hand to close the gap a little when they go into a regular warzone with pve gear? Pre-2.0 at times for people in recruit gear the disparity gap was almost like taking a fresh 50 and throwing them into EC NiM as they'd be running into people geared for ranked wzs. You wouldn't take someone with no pvp gear and do ranked, just as ops groups wouldn't take someone in pvp gear and do EC NiM (even with bolster you still wouldn't do that, only time is pretty much when groups do kickball).

And before you try and claim anything about what I play, I pretty much do both equally in terms of gearing (full conquerer jugg/mix conq partisan sniper/mix conq partisan merc)

  5. Spec: 31/7/2 Marksman, dabbled a bit with lethality

    1. How do you think your Sniper spec is perceived by other classes?

For pvp, perception is you can not leave them alone to free cast or your healers will be dead. Probably one of the biggest single target burst. For pve, a very mobility-poor high dps ranged class with some nice utility (sniper shield)

    2. How do you perceive your own spec?

A relatively stationary ranged dps class with some mobility options but preference is to stay in cover. Seems to have surprisingly better survivability than other stationary ranged dps specs (arsenal merc / lightning sorc).

  6. Spec: pre-1.2: 14/27/0, 1.2-1.3: 31/7/2, post-1.3: 17/22/2

    1. How do you think your Juggernaut spec is perceived by other classes?

I've been told by healers that they feel juggernauts are easiest to heal, but I've also been told that my vanguard is easier to heal than other better geared guardians (columi/battlemaster vs black hole/rakata). Although, most people all acknowledge that juggernauts do tend to have the lowest damage output.

    2. How do you perceive your own spec?

hybrid seems to have better survivability in pvp due to deafening defense being more useful than shield specialization along with a faster sonic barrier. although for pve so far it seems more of a wash with hybrid putting out a little more dps. Of the 3 tank classes, jugg I feel have the better survivability cooldowns but due to long timers become very situational, however lack some of the tools for certain encounters (force shroud + 10m interrupt make droid boss on LI 100x easier on my assasin tank).
