  1. Honestly? I feel bad fleecing people. Real life or fantasy. I don't see why anyone should act differently in an RPG, than in reality. You're playing a role, and if that role means you're considerate and not overly greedy, and don't wish to enable others to be, why not allow that?
  2. True but the person with the highest bid is likely to be the person who needs the item. There would be no profit in selling it again since the maximum bid level would determine the items value
  3. Perhaps they should implement a bdding system then?
  4. The problem is I want to sell the items to people who will use them. Perhaps an option for selling only to characters capable of using it. They may choose to sell it on, but if I sell something at a reduced rate I intend it to help people out with their skills, not to further someone elses profit and cost someone who needs it even more.
  5. I understand your position, however if I was selling something in reality, I could choose who I sell it to. Even on websites that are essentially what the GTN emulates. It would perhaps be good to see what crew skills a purchaser has before confirming a sale. I could easily sell them at the higher cost myself, but I would like to be helpful to others whilst still making a profit.
  6. I would like an option to prevent certain people from purchasing and seeing items you have listed on on the GTN. I haven't been able to find information as to whether ignoring them prevents them from seeing your sales but I imagine it doesn't. My reason for this is because I have often sold Mission Discovery items at 4k, being happy with the profit and hoping to help others, only to find that someone has bought them and then reposted them at 3 or 4 times the cost. Since I am selling them I should have a choice in who can buy them, even if it is simply blocking someone I've seen doing this from buying from me again. If there already is a way to do this I would be grateful to know how, if not, I think it ought to be integrated into the ignore system.
