  1. Here's the thing, Endless offensive you can only get from new Dxun OP and is not available at the vendor, while Gathering Storm is, so if your eventual goal is to get Endless offensive might as well get Gathering storm from the vendor with tech fragments you get along the way while working on new OPS set. But before anything else, i would get your tactical. I personally prefer Stormwatch or Ticking Force-Bomb even as i like to keep Weaken Mind and Mind Crush up all the time on a target so these two work great to get more dps from that. Eyrin's Haste is another great one if you like spamming force speed and it pairs well with Gathering storm set. Elemental Convection is only useful if you use the new Dxun OP set and the new ability we got TK Blitz. All other sets i found to be sub-optimal from what i tested on PTS. Only other one i really like would be Stationary Grit if you prefer to stand still while casting, which is my prefered way to play this class. This one gives you 2% alacrity as 2 peace and 3% damage increase while standing still as well as 10% extra armor rating while moving as 4 peace which is great to mitigate some damage on movement heavy fights. So at the end of the day, go with what you are most comfortable with playing as none of these new sets are really overpowering like some were in the past, sadly TK/Sorcs are really behind the curve as dps this last few expansions and none of these sets really help much to get them ahead sadly
  2. this bug has been in the game for almost 2 years now and hasn't yet been fixed. Having a character being stuck on a mission for so long because of a bug is a real bummer. I personally managed to get past all of the previous chapters up to chapter eight but here it is impossible to use any workarounds because of how the mission was put together. Funny thing is that this bug has already been reported by a ton of people from what i have seen, both on bug forums as well as from recent PTS reports and yet they let it slip through once again. First they delay the expansion and in the end it still comes out in a poor state. Really bad look for the game which is really sad because i really liked this game in the past but was ruined for me with some of the choices made in KOTFE and KOTET and now coming back i can't even get past the old content to be able to jump into new stuff on my existing characters. Does nobody test these things internally before they ship out? Guess not, but PTS had these issues as well so actions should have been taken before releasing this buggy mess out to the public. Having to waste precious sub time because of game breaking bugs is not my idea of fun. Def not subbing again any time soon thats for sure, sad as this could have been the expansion that would have get me back into the game but such poor management is just too much. Rant over
  3. So i followed your workaround for End Times and managed to get all the way to the Siege Skytrooper which is the last boss fight before your walker breaks down, however you said you have to kite him and just stomp him which doesn't seem to work as for some reason there is a huge GCD which prevents me from keep stomping him. Also he keeps hovering around and shooting rockets on me killing me in just a couple of hits no matter how hard i try to kite. This is such BS, they had this bug in game for almost 2 years and still hasn't been fixed, even after all the PTS reports about it. I really don't want to wait until next week hoping they fix this as im losing sub time. Here i am already at 75 but can't even get into the new story because of this BS
  4. Here are some of my points about this so called ''expansion'': Story was good, but way too short for an expansion, this felt more like a story patch than anything. Say what you will about KOTFE and KOTET, but at least it had a lot of story content to go through, and it was enjoyable for the most part. IMO, last few story patches prior to this should have been a part of this expansion, mainly Ossus and Dantoine at the very least.Chopping up the expansion is so many smaller patches is not a good way to start the expansion, you should put in plenty of story, new planets and such to make people occupied for more than a day and then down the line do some patches to continue the story. One Flashpoint, and a rather short one at that, is really not good enough to satisfy those that don't have time for OPS. As for OPS, again, only one, and not even connected to Malgus and this new war in any way, just another CZERKA OP that serves as a sideline story at best. I have noticed some bugs in Onderon dailies that prevent you from completing them so thats a major one, luckly personally haven't seen any more bugs than that so thats something. New gearing is a mess, before was way better. That said, i support the idea of only mainly greens dropping from planetary dailies, however flashpoints should drop blue's (i have been only getting greens) while OPS should drop the best gear, so purples and golds. But i can't be too sure on this as it may be tied to your item level what quality of gear you get. New vendors that give ''renown'' set peaces don't seem to have any differences between classes, from what i have seen every class vendor has same exact items with same bonuses and same appearances of armor (as a sage i was able to get trooper armor for instance if i wanted). Might as well just have one vendor at this point. Also none of these sets have any mods in them so you are forced to grind mods by pulling them from other less relevant gear just so you can use these set bonuses. Not really worth it unless you have high end gear from OPS. Also one peace of these costs 3k tech fragments and 1 mil credits, like ***? That is some huge money sink. Amplifiers, another money sink and honestly not really worth investing into unless you really have maxed out gear and got nothing better to spend your hard earned credits on. As for tactical items, some of them can be rather useful so props for those, no complains there. Interface changes are great for the most part and a welcome change, having legacy wide material storage also an amazing new feature that will help clear many people's storage spaces for other things. That said, now unique items you can get no longer have orange color but are blue or purple (for instance Dreadseed armor set) which can be confusing and i already ended up selling some unique items by mistake thinking that they are trash gear i had leftover from previous expansions. There needs to be a better way to distinguish unique items, having the tooltip say ''bound to legacy'' is not enough as i personally somethimes totally miss that. Preffered players still able to earn at least some renown is also a welcome change from previous galactic command system where you couldn't earn any unless you were a subscriber, even though 25% is maybe a tad bit too low? IDK I feel like 50% would resonate better with people. There's probably more things that im not thinking about now but these are some major ones
  5. such BS, all of the codes are already redeemed. Is it really that hard to give away codes that don't expire or mail stuff to people directly? Other MMO's do it all the time
  6. doesn't really seem worth it all the grind, by the time you get any decent gear on one character they will release new expansion with new gear lol. I will finish my chapters on my chars and be gone until something new story vise comes out. From now on i will threat SWTOR as a singleplayer RPG as there is really no point to put myself through this massive grind
  7. That fight is actually preety easy, you have to fight her in close range, inside that purple circle, then when she starts charging up her big attack that throws you around, there is going to be a big red circle on the ground, you have to get out of that whole area and she wont hit you at all. And remember to keep an eye out for those green healing circles that go around the area
