  1. Nope never purchased a pack code like this before and even If I had again the rubbish listing does not mention a 1 off code per account or once every 6 months so I should be able to get my money back lol
  2. Yeah I was a sub already I looked on amazon for a coins code and this was recommended in the search results and I thought hey coins and sub time bargain!! I contacted amazon they said try Bioware EA I did also ask if the listing was correct... well when I get home I will boot up swtor and put a ticket in I just thought there may be away to contact them through normal channels like an email or support ticket system but then again this is Bioware EA we are talking about... the normal does not apply.
  3. So I picked up the amazon pack orgin code: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00P1UCO6C/ref=od_aui_d_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It says in the listing you get 2,400 coins and 90 days sub time however I put the code in and it accepted it but I did not get any game time or coins.... and I can't seem to find a way to email or put a support ticket in through the website does anyone know how to get support for this?
  4. Legally they have a way around it that being said most these gambling systems are also behind an age gate, the topic that seems to be the main focus is more to do with mental health and grooming are companies using these practices to get kids addicted to gambling and exploit them? and what is the governments and companies social responsibility I think the most that will happen is games will have to be rated 18+ if they have lootboxes and the odds will have to be mentioned like in any other gambling game.
  5. To start off I don't think Disney is against it I would be surprised if they was this is about public image and not what other companies are doing.... Disney is a family brand and they don't want their brand on the news weekly being mentioned in the same breath as predatory practices aimed towards children... For them their long term brand image is more important than a deal with EA and if it costs them millions to get out of a deal so they can simply put a positive spin on the negative news towards their brand they will do it that is all I was saying this is about money and supporting this system is not worth the damage to their brand they are not stupid.
  6. I agree with Disney's big pockets they can do anything what Disney will want to be doing now tho is distancing themselves from EA with the new bills being put forward in the US to ban or regulate lootbox system's what Disney wants to avoid is them being seen as a company that supports this type of system that is being called predatory towards children, If Disney drop EA and walk away they can say they did this as they do not approve of a system and they are doing what they can to protect children and their brand if thats the approach they plan to take then swtor would have to go too.
  7. I was replying to the part of your comment about continuing the game or rebooting it with another publisher and not the lore in general, any company could use the lore/story as long as they have the License to do so but like I said no publisher is interested in making MMO's anymore, they make more money from selling a $60 boxed game with season pass DLC and microtranaction's and then dumping it a few years later for a newer game they can sell for $60 with season pass dlc etc they make a killing from the game sales and the microtransaction's are just icing.
  8. The game (code) is owned by Bioware/EA so it would close, and game companies are not really interested in MMO's anymore.
  9. Doubt it that would mean maintaining a relationship with EA and by the sounds of thing EA have upset Disney so much they just want to distance themselves from the company so for Disney it would be cleaner just to drop EA and all deals with them.
  10. Honestly I did expect Disney to shop around every time the gambling system called lootboxes is mentioned in the news Star Wars and Disney is mentioned along with EA and this is being mentioned in main stream news at least once a week now and with the new bills going forward will only increase so its hurting Disneys kid friendly brand. But what happens to swtor depends on how angry they are with EA if Disney decide they want to distance themselves from EA then they could pull every deal and the game would shut down within 30 days of that happening look at Marvel Heroes. Most contracts will have clauses that allow them to pull a deal if the company does something that will harm the brand name and well EA has done this so it effects all Disney properties licensed by EA.
  11. Love all the new emotes and would love to see some lightsaber twirling/dance type emotes use youtube for examples
  12. Sorry to dig this thread up but was googling for a Juggernaut guide and none of those sites have one.
  13. I dont see any issue's merging the EU servers into 1 or 2 megaservers it would be great for the game too and would love it if it happened.
