  1. Hear! Hear! This is exactly what I meant by "lag" in my post. This is a very very big issue for people who want to play PvP at least a bit seriously.
  2. (1) Fix the lag problem. Avatars are not where they are. Interrupts are hard to do. etc, etc. Note: I play many other games without any problem with lag (incl. WoW), so this is not a problem with my computer or my network connection. I know it is not competitive PvP in SWTOR, but it would be way more fun if lag didn't make it so random. Is this an EU only problem? (I don't know where the servers are physically located) (2) Make CC less of an impact. Being stunned to death is a terribly boring game experience, in any game...
  3. I don't get it... How can anyone really defend Bioware's complete disregard for EU players? Why not just simply accept the facts as they are: they plan all server downtime based on their largest player base: the US. Why do so many players feel a need for apologizing for Bioware at all? Why all these excuses for what they are doing? Why attacking people who feel like leaving the game because of this (or at least that feel this is a deciding factor to leave the game)? All you who defend Bioware: are you afraid that you will soon be left alone in the game? I don't mind that much personally, as I don't have time to play that much, but I really thought today's "emergency" patch was a joke at first! EU primetime downtime AGAIN!? You have to admit it is a bit funny! In my opinion this game is too boring to risk primetime downtime. WoW could do it occasionally in the very beginning because it was a great game. Unfortunately, SWTOR doesn't have that luxury.
  4. The Thread title is strange... this game is already so much like WoW it is almost silly. Not necessarily a bad thing but SWTOR = WoW-in-Space! :-)
  5. Bioware says they are fixing the wait queues with "surgical precision". That has to be one of the silliest statements I've seen in a long time. Queues are terribly bad, and I think they are threatening the success of SWTOR. It is not just a matter of waiting to get in, it is the very low number of players they are evidently capable of handling per server. After login to a server that is "FULL" (after a looong wait), I see that not that many people are actually in each area. The server is nowhere near "full" as I think most people would hope to define it. Compared to a full WoW (sorry to "swear" in this forum...) server, the SWTOR servers seem very very weak (or very poorly designed). This worries me, since it might mean that Bioware never really can solve the problem. There is a limit to how many servers they can setup, and if they cannot handle more players than on currently "full" servers, this will be a boring and lonely game... I so hope I'm wrong, but Bioware's inability to address the problem is sad...
  6. WoW has always been much much bigger that this game, and has never experienced queues as silly as the SWTOR ones. This is a disaster, and if they don't fix it very soon it will kill the game for many players.
