Hey everyone,
Let me start by saying that I could be completely off base, this is my opinion so if it does not jive with others, my apologies.
I am wondering if Bioware plans to do anything to make queing for SM OPS using the group finder a better way to participate in this end game content. I think that most of us have played other games that the casual player can que for an SM OPS equivalent, do some questing and then in a half hour or so the que pops and you get to try out the content.
SWTOR seems to really lack in this area though, my experience is that most people just spam LF (whatever) in the fleet and wait for people to sign up. I think this takes away for the causal player, reason being that people do not have time to do dailies (for example) and then head to the fleet and wait for X number of time for someone to start posting LF a OP or start one themselves.
I am wondering if other people have noticed this same thing?
I would like to know what people like and what people do not like about the current state of the group finder.
Why do you think people do or do not use group finder?
Is this a bigger problem on our server? than others?
I will admit that there are really only two things that I can think of in my head to make this better.
The first would be to pause the que, this would allow for a person to sign up for pvp, gsf, a group and an OP at the same time. When one pops the que is paused (in place) within the other ques. This means that when the que that popped is done the player automatically rejoins the other ques in the same place.
The second would be cross -server ques. I do understand that many people are against this, and I am actually one of them because I think that for some reason it just makes people jerks but I am throwing it here because I do not have other ideas.
Are there other ways to make the que for SM OPS a better part of end game?
Thank you in advance for your time and your responses.
