  1. I'm a constant sub, although I have only played (mostly) during the times that you can level only doing story modes. I have bounty hunter and sith warrior left to complete my story lines, and I'm wondering how *you* level most efficiently? I do love the story mode quests, but the planet quests have been boring for years. Now that double exp is over, story mode only isn't cutting it. So do you do flashpoints? Planetary quests? Other?
  2. Thank you all for letting me know. I will create my bounty hunter tonight. Thanks!
  3. I subscribe year round to support the game, but generally I've only played the last couple of years when the 12x exp for story mode has been enacted. I didn't get to play enough this summer to get every character to 50 and still have a bounty hunter and scoundrel to level to 50. Any word on bringing 12x exp back "soon"? I love the story mode leveling, but dislike doing non-story mode quests.
  4. This is not an "I quit" post. I am keeping my subscription active and will continue to play. I'm saddened that there is no quality looking for group tool implemented and I read several weeks ago that improving or recreating one is very low priority. I wasted my whole weekend trying to complete my hard mode dailies and I realize that in the last week I've only been able to complete maybe 2 or 3. I play on Harbinger which is a very active server and it's just sad at the state of the PvE game. My guild is a multi-game guild with factions on both sides so many people in our guild, while great players, still don't have their toons capped yet since they're enjoying leveling multiple toons. But because there is no quality dungeon finder tool in the game, I am stuck in fleet spamming "Healer LFG any Hard Mode" for hours and hours every day. I'm done wasting my time. I'll log on, do some PvP (since there is a matchmaking tool for that), do my Ilum/Belsavis dailies, and move on to other games or things to spend my time. I sincerely hope that the bioware team will reevaluate their position regarding a dungeon finder tool and help those of us who wish to play the game have a better experience with PvE.
  5. My operative's name is Bartowski. Agent Bartowski If you get it, then you know the only tv show I watch anymore.
  6. I hate to do this, but... I remember reading the same thing on the druid forums when wild growth came out. (/endwowreference). If you were looking for the "be all end all" healing spell, obviously this is not it. It's a very good group HoT. It's more efficient both with time and energy to use this on four people taking damage. My healing in warzones went from averaging about 240k at level 39 to getting my medal for 300k healing at level 40 because of this spell. In hardmodes it's a big help picking up extra healing in fights with lots of damage being dealt around. I'd say this healing spell makes up about 10-15% of my healing in flashpoints. Without it, I'd have a lot of trouble on some fights. I don't think it makes any fight trivial, but it does alleviate some stress that I would otherwise really struggle with without it. Use it, but don't treat it like it's the only spell you're ever going to use.
  7. I've seen very disturbing and sad responses to this suggestion before, so I'm throwing my 2 cents back into the conversation. Please implement a reasonable and working looking for group tool. There is a recent post in the developers thread saying that not only is this not a priority but that the developers don't think it's important to have a better LFG tool. I think this is a horrible position and I beg you to reconsider this position. SW:TOR desperately needs a better looking for group tool. Standing in fleet spamming /1 looking for group is a horrible way to look for a group and it doesn't do ANYTHING for social growth of a community. It just creates general chat spam. I can at least say from personal experience that the current tool is worthless. I play on Harbinger, certainly one of the most populated servers in the game, and the only way to get a group is to go to fleet and spam LFG in general chat. This process is rarely quick, and usually takes a very devoted amount of time. I don't see how SWTOR expects to have any longevity outside of PvP if this isn't fixed? I'm in a reasonable sized guild, so fortunately I'm getting to run instances occasionally, but I'm a person who enjoys group as much as possible and I don't like standing around for hours every day trying to put groups together. I KNOW I'm not alone in that.
  8. I'm 32, but THAT is exactly why I am playing this game. I actually went to my mom's and got my old x-wing fighters out and have them on a shelf in my home office where I play the game on my computer. I have quite a few old toys I'll be pulling out to grace my shelves as long as I play swtor. Great post.
