  1. I'm going to call it here, so when I'm right I can win a prize or something: The new planet is
  2. This is literally the only thread about these two emotes? I'm having trouble with them, too. They are not showing up in collections. Has there been an update from the developers?
  3. Hey, Pokket! Congratulations! I'm glad to see that the new community person is someone I know. SWTOR has won a great community person today.

  5. Thanks! I will post about the site here from now on. I've NOT been considered a fansite for so long, it didn't occur to me that I'm now a fansite :-D In my latest post, I gave SWTOR some credit for the recent support for PvP. http://www.hyperspacebeacon.com/post/82909771578/hyperspace-beacon-the-top-five-improvements-to-swtor https://31.media.tumblr.com/2a50d57ba916bb57ac4e386e73210bb9/tumblr_inline_n44xcru49a1swkyup.jpg
  6. After two years of waiting, Huttball finally landed a new map. I took some time to film my experience and share my commentary with you. When you've watched my impression, let me know yours in the comments. https://31.media.tumblr.com/7de90b0c829b5c86bded5948d1dcd9a5/tumblr_inline_n3ryinuUxP1swkyup.jpg http://www.hyperspacebeacon.com/post/82212192722/hyperspace-beacon-hitting-swtor-huttball-on-quesh (Yes, I forgot to change the header image to say "Beacon" in stead of "Bacon" from April Fool's day. But I'm keeping it because it's funny.) Thanks for watching.
  7. For four years, the Hyperspace Beacon traveled with the MMO website Massively, giving commentary and guides as a weekly column, but now, it stands alone devoted to all things Star Wars. This includes the movie coming out next year, books, comic books, and of course, Star Wars: The Old Republic and other Star Wars games. The site is written by Star Wars super-fan Larry Everett, who has written professionally for Joystiq, Massively, Game Skinny, and Gamebeaker. If you're a fan of Star Wars, and especially if you're a fan of SWTOR, then you should stop by Hyperspace Beacon every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for the latest news and commentary about Star Wars and Star Wars: The Old Republic or follow us on Tumblr, Twitter, or YouTube. Now strap yourself in, kid — we gotta make the jump to hyperspace!
  8. Hi, this is an interesting post. I should point out that both Laura and I do play the game everyday. We still think the game is great in many ways. But every once in awhile, there comes a time when we believe the decisions made by BioWare don't jibe with what we consider good game development. Unfortunately, these poor decisions have been more frequent as of late. As for this specific episode, I did not agree with Laura and Gary regarding the extra 500 CC. I think it was fine; however, I can see their point. If a person gives you a gift, it shows that he cares more if that gift was something unique to you instead of a gift certificate, for example. BioWare granting subscribers 500 CCs is similar to giving a gift certificate. For me, I don't mind a gift certificate. Now back to your regularly scheduled forum discussion...
  9. Hi Larry Everett with Massively here. I am not completely defending the implementation of SGRs with the expansion, but I can tell you that there are [flirt] options for female characters with female NPCs on the Imperial side. Remember that there is more to this expansion than Makeb. I do not recall if those flirt options bare more fruit, but I do specifically remember them being in there. It's possible that dialogue slipped Musco's mind because the did not happen on Makeb.
  10. I figure he's just a guy with a really bad skin problem, like leprosy. Other than that, I'm sure he's a really nice person.
  11. Hey guys, I've been sick most of the day so I haven't said a lot (or anything actually) in the comments of the article. Thanks for reading, and I'm glad some of you can relate to what's written. Massively does a weekly "Why I play" article, and mine just so happened to fall this week. It's funny that is fell during a time that this game is receiving negative press. That said, everything I said in that article holds true -- even calling lightsabers light-savers.
  12. Actually, from my understanding just about everyone that entered the code in within about the first month were in on the first day. I'm really not sure what people are complaining about.
