I know this probably already has a million posts about it already, but maybe one more on the pile will help the devs see this is an issue players care about. This weapon is amazing. The design, thought and effort put into designing it was clearly a labor of love. It is by far my favorite weapon in the game. However, I cannot understand the decision to make it a blaster rifle and not a sniper rifle. In the show, it is clearly a sniper rifle. There is an article called "The Making of Gear Inspired by The Mandalorian” where devs discuss the design process and inspiration for making all the Mandalorian related items we know and love: https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20201124 At the bottom, when describing the Amban JP Blaster Rifle, they even state "The Amban style of sniper rifle has appeared in many versions throughout Star Wars". SNIPER RIFLE. Why then, choose to make it a blaster rifle? The classes that use blaster rifles don't REALLY use their blaster rifles in combat (Agent and Trooper). They are mostly melee. The beautiful animations and design are completely wasted on these classes. Here is my suggestion - please, please, PLEASE make a sniper rifle version of this weapon. I would by it in a heartbeat for a sniper. I know many players feel the same. Alternatively, you could also remove the DPS reduction on sniper characters when they use a blaster rifle instead of a sniper rifle - just make these 2 weapons completely interchangeable in those weapon slots! What do you guys think?
