Can't wait until the OP subs run out so they can't make such ridiculous suggestions. All "successful" MMOs are subscription based: WoW, Rift, SWTOR, etc. Those that go F2P are failing MMOs and F2P are a last ditch effort to save a dying game. While there are always exceptions that's the trend. SWTOR won't go F2P unless it starts to fail (which I don't see happening anytime soon). I've always payed for at least 1 MMO subscription. WoW, Rift, DCUO, STO, Champions, City of Heroes (when they weren't F2P). I've never, ever stuck with a F2P game...ever. I believe those who want F2P are a totally different group of players than the subscription based ones. Once their 1 month sub ends, they'll be gone to other F2P games. They just want this to be F2P because they can't/won't/whatever pay a monthly sub. Lastly, for those who don't/won't/can't/whatever pay a monthly sub just think about the value. How much does going to the movies cost? How about renting a new release every week? How about going out to eat every week (or more)? So as long as you play for 2 hours every weekend it's the same as the vast majority of other forms of paid entertainment. Just think about it.
