  1. Right before you logged in your Republic character you asked in /GSF if anyone wanted to carry your drunk *** in a few matches, it was pretty funny. That and the fact you didn't finish in the top 2 for damage and kills.
  2. http://i.imgur.com/0DjOssi.jpg Definitely one of the best games I've played in recent memory. I was sure we were going to get slaughtered when I saw Qi'shi, I'sys, Hawke and Tobias lined up against us but our team had some solid talent as well. It turns out Hawke isn't nearly as dangerous when he's been drinking.
  3. Rage quitting a losing match to preserve a KDR is also a viable tactic.
  4. Did Xi'ao make a character on this server? I was on the receiving end of a wargame blowout loss last night and there was a bursty scout flying circles around me...I couldn't even get a lock with my cluster missles. I forget his name but it looked Chinese with accented letters. Between him, Keenz and Siddain I think my KD ratio was around 1/8.
  5. Wow, I thought I had a lot and I'm only at ~650k. But yes please, I would love something else to spend it on besides maxxing out every system on my ships.
  6. I'llscanyou appeared in a match earlier today and last week I flew against Ghrymm. I was very relieved that they were both a little rusty (or I'm getting better) but it was definitely good to see some of the original impside pilots.
  7. I was just talking to Tobias a few minutes ago about this. It would be awesome to play with you guys and I'm flattered you consider me good enough to compete at your level but I'm a west coaster and the time listed for the event is right in the middle of family time for me. You'll just have to settle for bumping into me on JC.
  8. Really? I feel like I keep running into a premade wall and I find the only time I am winning lately is when the server aces are playing their Pub alts or we are going up against a team of 3 shippers. I think I killed you in one of your matches and I got an achievement for it...or at least I should have. I would love to play a few matches with you but I am a newish dad so I have trouble committing to specific times. Sometimes I only have time to fire off the daily and sometimes I can play for a few hours. It depends entirely on my daughter's nap schedule.
  9. Can you make a Drakolich on Pub side on Jedi Covenant, we have been kinda sucking lately.
  10. That match was a bit if a disaster, I think the score was 50-6. My aggressive playstyle bites me in the *** a lot and I'm especially vulnerable to gunships and burst scouts. It has served me well though, I should be a Reinforcement Specialist in a few days and a Devastator in a week of two.
  11. I don't known about you guys but I had a really good time this week. The conquest event brought a lot of new faces into GSF and the queues were short and regular and there were some really hard fought, close matches. I hope the rookies liked this part of the game enough to stick around.
  12. I think it was around 5 times in total. I don't really mind, I take it as a compliment that I am good enough to piss him off that much. It was a textbook case of the 'bad Keenz' that was talked about in this thread. Before I killed him the imp team had the lead, but after I killed him once he focused on me and nothing else for the rest of the match and ignored all the objectives. We ended up winning. I gave him the courtesy of logging on one of my imp characters to let him know I was heading out to work and done for the night.
  13. http://imgur.com/txeUUM2 Should I be afraid?
  14. Grendaehl just totally carried an imp team, he got at least 30 out of 36 kills, including me a few times...I was, uh, distracted.
  15. Do you think that is a consequence of 5-shippers exploiting the influx of newer players due to the conquest rewards?
  16. I have a screenshot of the exact same match result. I was very surprised at my medal count, and even more so that we won against Tylenol and Buggleseya.
  17. I'm not as twitchy as a lot of other pilots and I find I can contribute a lot more as a bomber than with any other ship. When I max out a few achievements I will probably switch back to my T2 scout or T3 strike, but for the foreseeable future I'll be gunship bait.
  18. I've been playing on the Republic side since early access as Sal'vor, noob bomber pilot extraordinaire. There are only a handful of pilots on the Imp side that pretty much guarantee a Republic loss and can wreck me on a consistent basis, so in no particular order: Ghrymm I'llscanyou Snakepliskin Graendahl Eichman Zuckerkorn 'Zuckerkorn recieves damage overcharge!' Me: oh crap 'Zuckerkorn 1 shots 5 players before the match is 30 seconds old.' f**king Keenz (just kidding!) I played a deathmatch against an Imp team with a bunch of 2 shippers and Keenz, and Keenz got like 34 out of 36 Imp kills, it was ridiculous. Jaheesh Tylenol Buggleseya Fantean Marttell I haven't seen the first three guys on my list in a while, maybe an Imp regular has seen them more. They were nevertheless pretty amazing pilots. Off the top of my head on the republic side, I always love to see: Avidity Tobiasfunke Nevernude Paxjedicron Mattybeard Battledress Fanteen Q'ishi And do Ketch and Grunty still play? I apologise for anyone I've missed, I'm more likely to remember players who totally dominate me rather than effective allies.
  19. Drop me a line if you see me online, I'm happy in my guild but I'm always up for some GSF. I play a bomber 90% of the time but I have at least one maxed ship in each class. My toon's name is Sal'vor.
  20. You call my ideas idiotic and at the same time fail to offer your own suggestions, and I don't really think I'm asking for a lot. To the poster above you, I was thinking of guild capital ships as a meeting point for raids, but instead of going to do an operation the guild would meet to do a giant cooperative space mission instead. Or perhaps some sort of guild vs. guild pvp space battle. There is so much potential for space combat it can almost be a game in and of itself. Some of my ideas are tough to implement, but I'm just brainstorming. It's how great ideas are formed.
  21. 1. Something cool to do with legacy that requires a higher legacy than level 10. The game has been out for a year and so far the legacy has been a bit disappointing. There are still a ton of us who have been playing since launch and are level 40+...give us legacy wide datacrons, the ability to re-customize our characters, legacy starships and starship upgrades or perhaps even a legacy capital ship...you guys are more creative than me, think of something! Oh, and don't make cool legacy perks a gold sink....Congrats on legacy 10, now spend 2 million credits for rocket boots. 2. Cross server warzones. Sometimes I want to play late at night and not run into the same premade over and over again because there aren't enough people queueing. It also adds some variety to my opponents for the same reason. Has the engine been adjusted enough to handle a 30vs 30 massive warzone without killing framerates or do I need a better computer? 3. More server events and on Hoth and Tatooine...those planets seriously rock my world and they are a goldmine for content, especially with a Jabba the Hutt lineage. When I get old I want to retire on Tatooine I love that planet so much. 4. Don't make Makeb like Corellia. I don't mind the tunnels but it felt like a big empty wasteland devoid of anything but a few scattered quest npc's. 5. Hood up/down armour for force users. My jedi has an awesome haircut that I can only see if I show his Geordie LaForge sunglasses. 6. Clickable npc's...they make the world feel more alive and less like wallpaper. Make a few of them say something unique or give us the ability to talk to them and have them tell us their life story or something with a quest as a reward for listening to them. 7. Guild capital ships and guild capital ship combat, off the rails space missions...perhaps missions that involve mining rare ores from an asteroid or weaving your way through an asteroid field and defeating the outer defenses of a derelict ship before docking with it and doing something cool inside, all off the rails. 8. Expanding SM operations like Denova or Terror From Beyond into the group finder queue AND (big emphasis) placing gear restrictions on queueing for them...like no fresh level 50 greens and no recruit pvp gear or something like that. Lost Island hardmode for a perfect example of why gear restrictions are a good idea. I am a shift worker and as a result my days off are always changing so my schedule is not great for being on a regular raid team. I don't care about having the best gear, I just want to see the content before it becomes obsolete. 9. Solo dungeons that require some strategy and the use of different types of companion. I only use a single DPS companion and my healer depending on the situation...something like this could be a good incentive to gear up more than just two of them. Please comment on my suggestions and add to them, and feel free to print this out and hand copies of it to the board of directors at the next AGM
  22. That would be so sweet. I would love to see it be upgradeable, with the option to do space missions on it.
  23. I agree as well, since all social level does right now is give you access to social gear and emotes. It's not like there's a game breaking advantage to be social X over social II.
  24. So the new server merges have come and gone, and it's good to see the community population given a healthy boost. Some players have been forced to rename their characters again and I can only assume the criteria is based on activity or date of creation. When I moved to my home on Jedi Covenant from Keller's void in the first round of mergers I was forced to rename several of my toons. Unfortunately a name that I had used since 2005 was taken, so I stuck an apostrophe in the middle of it and sucked it up. I was only slightly disappointed that the preferred version of my name was taken up by a level 1 that I have never seen online nor gain a level since I joined JC. I was hoping that down the road I could petition a GM to take the name of the level 1 guy if he is attached to an inactive account or simply hasn't logged that character on in several months. Fast forward to yesterday, when I log in I see the level 1 is now named 'bubbajoe0589' (not real name) and a level 50 toon that transferred over has the name of 'bubbajoe'. So my gripe is this: I was forced to rename my character during the first round of mergers because my name was in use by an inactive level 1, but another player takes the name in the latest round of mergers and I am left with the less desirable version of it. This is not a game breaker for me, but I do feel slighted since the naming rules were obviously different for each round of mergers. I think it would be a nice gesture on Bioware's part to allow us a one time first name change. Thoughts?
  25. I did the same thing. I unsubbed, then before it expired I resubbed again. I rolled another alt, this time I am going to run from planet to planet doing all the quests and when I get to level 50 go back to Taris and do the class questline uninterrupted from the beginning.
