  1. When I loaded up the game today the client was very very tiny and then when I got into the game it was a very small windowed version of the game! I changed the settings to full screen and even the screen size and nothing happened. Is anyone else experiences this issue? It just started happening and wondering if it was some sort of change from recent updates.
  2. I'm a sub and I haven't yet received my coins for December and was just wondering what the problem was as I usually get an email a day or two before the end of the month telling me I have cartel coins. Any ideas? Thanks
  3. With what has happened lately in the game I have moved on and gone back to WoW! This game doesn't care about people who spent $150 for the collectors edition and they make certain requirements to get the free month and such! I think it should be available to ALL who have played not based on the lvl of your chars! For that I am leaving this game and going back to my one tried and true MMO WoW as I'm getting ready for MOP to come out! So long and farewell!!
  4. I'm not trying to make this a debate just wanting to point out that the Mac market is getting bigger. As I have read in tech journals is that many people are buying macs and there are more and more out there and I think it is more than just 3% of the market! I think the tides are changing and I think companies like Bioware need to at least have their ear on the door to listen! Look at MS now with the cellphone and tablets as they waited too long to do anything about it and the ipad and iphone is killing them! The mobile market of MS is about 2% so Bioware doesn't want to be left behind if for some reason the mac market should suddenly take over. Oh and just yesterday I read that Apple is the most valuable company in the US so they are doing something right!!
  5. I never liked Rift or their policies and if they did have a mac client they would get more players. Most macs now are exactly a PC with just a different OS on it so with all the advances of say the unreal engine be able to go cross platforms easily you would think more companies would do this! You'd be surprised at how big of a market they would open up if they made a mac client as I know in WoW the ratio is about 50/50 at least on the server I play! I know when D3 comes out I can play it natively on my mac with no problem. Oh and saying that games run better on windows it is all how you program and set the game up. If you look at most consumers they are not going to go out every year and by the latest graphics card and plop down $500 on it! Most people want a system that works that they don't have to fool with! I am one of those people as every time I upgrade something on my PC in the past something else goes wrong! On my Duo Core machine the power supply died and to me it just wasn't worth it and it seems that problems I have on PCs are always the powersupply or something to do with the motherboard! Oh and trying to get support for a PC is almost non existent now! As none of the manufacturer's claim responsibility so if your new video card doesn't like your BIOS etc then your SOL! I can take my mac to the Apple store and they can help me figure out what is wrong and give me some sort of solution or at least help me! Try calling MS and getting tech support for Windows! #1 they will want a credit card to charge your $45 bucks for the call and after it's said and done you won't get the answer you were looking for! I am very very happy with my mac but I just don't like having to be in the Windows environment all the time! I do hope at some point there is a native client for this game as I do like this game and want to see more mac people play it!
  6. Blizz had done it for years as all their games support the mac now and will going into the future! It just makes sense as macs are really coming into their own now and I know a lot of people who are replacing their PCs with macs! I've talked to sooo many people in the game that are playing via bootcamp so there is a community of us out there!!
  7. If you read my thread I indicated that I would like to see a NATIVE mac client one where I didn't have to BOOT windows! On that would work in Lion that I could have all the features of my Mac OS! I can play it with Bootcamp no problem but I would like to see a full native mac client for the mac people out there!
  8. One thing about this game that I think would make it more popular is if they made a full mac client of the game! Most companies now are understanding the importance of the Mac community! Blizz allows you to play all their games on the mac or pc and its in one package so you don't have to purchase a separate copy for both platforms. Many people I have encountered in the game are playing on a mac with boot camp and would like to see a native mac client to play on! Hopefully the devs will see the need for this and end up creating a mac client of the game! In the mean time I can run it with boot camp and it works just fine!
  9. I am playing SWTOR via bootcamp on my mac and I want to take a screen shot of my char but when I use the FN+Shift+F11 it doesn't work and I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to make this work as I'd really like a pic of my character to post on facebook! Thank you so much. BTW the game runs great on my mac mini! Great job guys!!
  10. More and more people are using tablets now to access the net it would be a good idea for this site to get away from using Flash to display all it's animation and make it ipad and android friendly. As I use my ipad more and more now than my actual pc when I am surfing the net! I now more and more websites are using HTML 5 rather than Flash so that tablets can take advantage of it. I have my ipad with me when I play the game and it is helpful if I need to check something to be able to load it up! Thanks for the great job you guys do!
