  1. I know we are nerds, but that's no excuse to get creepily weird with this game.
  2. Here's what I'd like to see: 1) The option to join the Zakuul Empire by kneeling 2) If you choose this option, you finish out your story fighting against the Republic and Sith Empire 3) Once the story concludes with the Zakuul Empire's eventual defeat, you truly become the "Outlander" because you no longer have a faction to call home. 4) When the next expansion comes, you get to choose between rejoining your faction or converting to the other. Hey, your companions can defect in their story, why can't we? This expansion sets up the perfect opportunity to allow faction defections in the game. None of this will happen of course, because it's too awesome.
  3. Uggghhhhhh. Did that, redownloading. Now, i'm out of patience. I quit. Time to play WoW.
  4. I got up about 4 hours ago, logged-in to patch the update. It stopped at 94.35%. 4 hours go by. It's sitting at 94.75%. Why is SWTOR patching so ungodly horrible? Every time SWTOR has a patch update...I pretty much resign myself to the sad fact that I won't be logging in for a couple of days. And I have a nice computer! Asus G750 gaming laptop, only 1 year old. Any other game? WoW, Hearthstone....takes like 20 seconds. Am I missing something here? Is there a way I can fix this god-awful patch speed for SWTOR? While I'm complaining: There are 2 things I regret in my life in which alcohol was involved. The first was waking up in the woods, not knowing where I am, and stumbling for 5 hours back to civilization. The second is choosing this stupid account name before SWTOR even came out. I had to live with the first drunk mistake. Do I really have to continue to live with this one? I cringe every time I look at it. Thanks.
  5. It's to log in the game. I don't have a security key because i'm maxed out on cell phone memory and really don't want to buy more data. I understand the reasoning behind having a security key, I just understand why i can't just log in hassle free if I don't have one.
  6. I know this is a very old issue. But, come on... One-Time Password = Every Time. No, I do not want the Security Key that you are relentlessly trying to push on me. I just want to log in without having to go check my email every time.
  7. Only 5 more levels? I hope that doesn't mean the expansion is small.
  8. Wow, someone is mad. The OP is right, bro. This needs to happen. So the process takes time to implement? Understandable. Doesn't mean it should be disregarded and there is nothing wrong about requesting it be done. We need more people to pvp with. If WoW can pull of cross-server ques, SWTOR can too.
  9. It'd make sense, wouldn't it? So annoying having to mail everything.
  10. I love the idea of personal capital ships. I don't know if I agree that every 55 should have one though. I think it should (A) be a guild ship or (B) you only get a personal capital ship by accomplishing real noteworthy achievements in-game (such as finishing in the top 10 percent of a Rated season or something PVE related. Or both) I just think things are too easy to get in this game, god forbid you have to work for something.
  11. Please don't be one of those people. He has a great idea that was likely posted in General forum because it's where the most eyes are for conversation.
  12. It'd be VERY cool. I hate how 'seperate' we are, save from the couple of open world pvp zones we have.
  13. Well now I feel like I gotta see Thor so I can get in the know.
  14. One of the silliest things i've ever read. Win/win? Really? Win for who? Win for you inside a VERY linear map? Enjoy your little box, bro. Some of us want to move a little beyond that. In this game, the only places you can go is from leveling zone to leveling zone with hardly any explo to be done 'off the beaten path'. (Hoth is probably the ONLY exception..even then all you get is one snowy mountain to hang out on). Look at 'the 'other game'. Flying mounts opened up world explo in a major way (which was already way better than SWTOR before flying mounts even came out). I don't think you truly believe your post. You are only saying what BW would say without any room for suggestions or objectivity. Typical BW defense response.
  15. I want to jump onto a flying mount, hang out on the top of skyscrapers and go chill in the mountains in the background. You know...go explore ****. They may be 'constructed landscapes' in the background but it's not like you can go to it.
  16. Without posting a video link or a picture....kinda pointless to have the conversation because we don't know what you are talking about.
  17. Not sure what low standards you are talking about.
  18. Yes, but you can't do anything with it. There is nothing to explore, it's just a pretty backdrop painted into the backgroud.
  19. It don't really think it's fair to assume new people subscribe everyday. It seems to me this game is full of people who have been here a while. I admit, I did chuckle at that. Just playing devil's advocate because I sorely need entertainment.
  20. If you haven't figured out the storyline plots of this game yet, you should stop playing.
  21. This game needs invasions. In WoW, you can make runs to capitol cities, slaughtering their leadership. This game needs that. We need to be able to dock at each other's fleet and attempt mass murder.
  22. Leave it to BW to take cool stuff out. Oh, and umm...coming to a CM near you
  23. There is no legitimate argument as to why dual spec shouldn't be in this game. - We have field respec and can do it quickly! - Ok, I don't do that because i'm lazy. Dual spec is 1 click of a button to switch over. As a casual player, that's all I need. - Dual spec is trouble! - You have yet to explain exactly how it's trouble. Shouldn't affect your life whatsoever - It will mess up our abilites on the skill bars! - I'm sure BW could figure something out.
  24. If that's the case they shouldn't bother implementing anything at all. Apparently implementing cool things is too mind-boggling for them to figure out.
