I know this is an old issue, I've searched the forums and found nothing that helps. I've submitted a ticket... yada yada yada... Nothing. I can not continue the Defender of the Empire mission, I get to the part where it says to "disable the jamming signal," and I proceed to do that by interacting with the console on the bridge of the ship, immediately after I do that the normal alerts appear on the screen about what to do next which is "overload the shield generator" but that's where I'm stuck because the mission doesn't properly progress and enable any interactable object to "overload" a shield generator..... it just dead ends. I've been everywhere on the ship and found nothing and the minimap shows me nothing as well but the mission log says "overload shield generator" and that's it. I'm pretty frustrated by this because obviously I can't finish this class storyline without this mission. Help? *****EDITED****** **ISSUE IS RESOLVED***

Exactly my thoughts as well, $HITTY, HALF A.S.S. way to "run" a business. These guys are a mega successful company too, they know what they SHOULD be doing in this scenario and they have failed HORRIBLY at doing it. I can understand not giving a warning about this happening, maybe they didn't know... this could have been a crash and totally unseen. But to leave us hanging like a nut$ack on a hot summer day and not give us a little info about what is going on is NOT cool at all.... literally, pun intended.

What is APAC? Is that the Oceanic servers?

Yeah we are NEVER compensated for **** like this. It's really ****in' annoying. If it happened every now and then... fine, but this seems to happen ALL the time.

I've been playing since closed beta and this server seems to go down more often than a wh0re on the strip. More often it seems than other servers.

The "usual" downtime seems to be all the damn time.

That's a great comparison. I work 6 days a week 11 hours a day. Saturday happens to be that day I get to actually USE WHAT I PAY FOR... or wait.... no just kidding, Saturday isn't the day I get to enjoy what I spent my hard earned money on. Damage meters have their pros and cons, it's nice to know if someone is a lame and is holding the group back and it's also nice to know if you personally need to step your dps up but I feel that meters do more HARM than good, DPS players tend to turn into meter zombies who tunnel vision on their DPS and not actually do their job... like interrupt and stun/CC etc OR switch targets... the list goes on. I think if a meter is implemented it should be a party leader/raid leader tool and not an individuals tool. Just my opinion though.
