  1. Hello! I agree with the original post. Yesterday I did them all with a friend for the first time and we had no troubles at all and I rather enjoyed it all. Today I went and solod the daily "versions" of them, including the heroic. Now as a healer with purple 66's and augments and a tank companion having the same it's all not terribly difficult, just takes ages but hey if that bothered me, I wouldn't play healing spec right? Anyway, the gimmicky things all of the bosses do are just plain annoying. Unless they changed my interrupt to 4 seconds, I just don't have enough to deal with all of the things I have to interrupt. And that's if I ever happen to NOT be stunned, which is a VERY rare occasion apparently these days. Certainly feels like I'm standing around stunned half the time or my tanky companion is whirlwinded or something so I stand there just healing myself for a while because as Operative healer, I don't get to dispell 95% of them. After I had them all done I tried to sum the experience up, asking myself whether I enjoyed it or not. Those moments where I wasn't standing arouned stunned somewhere or waiting on my interrupt to come off cooldown were enjoyable, yes. However those moments are rather brief and rare, seems like I'm literally stunned or waiting for a cooldown 75% of the time. Interestingly enough, I found the heroic champions to be more fun and less annoying to kill than the ones supposed to be done solo. To sum it up: Lots of grinding and yet another story I don't get to conclude because I don't like stressful operations and reputation farming for items I really don't want. Lots of broken things, bugs and gimmicky, annoying and tedious boss mechanics. Also: You don't get to do that while stunned. Ugh
  2. Hello there! As a a turbonerd of the Metal Gear Solid series, I can confirm that this is most definitely David Hayter's voice Mister Hayter is an incredibly versatile voice actor and could probably voice half the characters in TOR and you'd think they're all different people. If mister Hayter is reading this, yes, my excellent and subtle marketing skills are for sale. I may even be able to make Hideo Kojima regret his poor decision to go with Sutherland in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5! Back on topic though; Here's a clip from the intro of Metal Gear Solid 4, where you can see Hayter and hear him speak in his normal voice: Hope this helped May the Force be with you! Edit: As it turns out, this was already all said on the first page of this thread! I'll still leave this here in case mister Hayter wants to hire me!
  3. First off, I'm not a Star Wars fan. I play(ed) and enjoy this game because playing with friends is fun and because I like the merger between Mass Effect type storytelling as well as MMO gameplay. That said, there isn't a single piece of armor in the entire game that I'd personally rate higher than mediocre, the 1.2 armors included. This might very well be due to my personal ignorance of being unable to appreciate the "typical" Star Wars art style. All armors can be summed up into: a) Robes. *Yawn* Mandatory in any game ever and should really rather be worn by extremely overweight people. b) Brown things. Extremely apparent when playing Republic other than Trooper. Brown is the colour of dirt, not glorious armor of space heroes. c) Power armor, the favourite choice of Republican Space Rangers everywhere. What I personally find extremely lacking are sexier, skimpier armor choices. There are only two in the entire game, both requiring some weird things, namely: - Imperial / Republic Dancer, which not even everybody has access to since it's restricted to Security Key people, and - Slave Girl, which I am personally sick and tired of because you see it everywhere and because it's not that sexy after all. Now I know all the pretentious backwards moralists will troll this but it doesn't mean we need space lingerie (although that WOULD be an option I'd appreciate!), but, say, why not a skintight leather outfit (in black!), all shiny and leathery and smexy, for Agents? Put on some nightvision goggles that... actually just Google for Splinter Cell. TLDR; Armor is grey and boring and looks like dirt, need more sex-appeal.
