I'm sure there is a similar thread here somewhere but id like to revive it since its not up anymore, Ive been talking about pvp flashpoints for a while and wanted to share some of my ideas, and hopes for future content. As you all know, pvp has been a dull grind since release, but we all want the gear because killing other players, or at least holding your own against other players trumps pretty much everything. With that said getting the gear is a lot like work and not much fun at all when the pvp que is random, repetitive, and unfriendly. PVP content has been slow and painful, It seems like instead of releasing new pvp maps and events were just getting new armor that's only slightly better that we have to grind all over for and that's just disgusting. What most of us pvpers want is more maps, a better way to que, like choosing the maps you want to que for, and more interaction with cross factions. I know its been mentioned before but a lot of people wanted class qued war zones and we never really heard anything back so im suggesting there should be more pvp maps and some of them should be more like flashpoits. Im not saying we need to change the same 5 pvp maps around, but i would like to see a place we can go to and jump into pvp like the flashpoint gates, and operation gates, and if there were pvp gates we could choose to group up and enter maps like hutball with a team that actually wants to play. With that said id also love to see story driven pvp flashpoints where say 4-8 players could que up and fight actual wars in story mode, this would be wonderful for RP servers, not just some hold the node crap we've all done a thousand times.

I completely agree, everyone before 2.0 said the same thing, and it ticked a lot of people off, making us grind all over again is not the same as adding new content, We want more maps, interaction, and a place to go and do instant pvp with rewards with friends and rivals. To be honest, as a veteran player since release i get way to bored to grind the same pvp games over and over, and we all get upset when the team doesn't pull their weight. What I think we all wan is for pvp to match Flashpoint ques in diversity and in the way we choose which pvp maps we want to que, for example, Huttball is one in particular that people either love or hate, however, if huttball were more like a flashpoint than a pvp random que and there was a place we could go to instant que for huttball it would be a blast, we could play with people that want to do that level and people that enjoy the match we que for.

I've been preparing for a while to take on an apprentice in RP style progression. I am ready to take on an apprentice from any class but preferable a force using class for role playing, I've got a level 55 character of every class and have accumulated tons of credit and content for this event. To qualify you must be an active or semi active player with some experience, I am willing to fund all class skill progression, unlimited experience boost, rewards for leveling and RP progression, and some very valuable cartel content for participation. I'm looking for assassin or shadow classes in particular, ive got a level 55 shadow, and 2 level 55 assassins, so i know the class very well and have quite a lot to offer, I can level any semi active player to 55 in less than a month and i can keep them geared and trained the whole way. If your interested reply and ill meet you in-game for an interview id like to take on multiple apprentices, at least 2 and after a month the the apprentices will duel for an ultimate reward of their choice. I can host this apprenticeship at any time and on either side, pub or imp, or both. when i have at least 2 candidates i will have them create characters at the same time and the rest is RP.

I would also gladly pay to bring my characters to a server that best suits my time zone, Ive got a max level character i never play because i created it on a server i no longer play on.

This is a stealth class based RP guild on the Empire Jung Ma Server. The Seyugi Dervishes are not 100% lore friendly but are only a few hundred years off so were rolling with it. The Seyugi Dervishes perfected the art of stealth that earned them a foot note in how warfare works in the star wars universe. You've herd of the Jedi, the Sith, Mandalorians, and Jensuarai, but you probably haven't heard of the seyugi dervishes and that's why they are impressive. The dervishes are a force sensitive group that doesn't follow the jedi or even the sith teachings, although they balance more on the dark side they believe everyone is equal in the eyes of death and spend their lives honing their skills with the force, body, and mind. A Jedi might see Stealth combat as dishonorable, a sith might see it as an advantage but cowardly and the dervish walks away from their dead bodies while they contemplate their demise. Message Balisk on the Jung Ma Server for inv, all members are equal and may take apprentices at will, what defines you as a dervish isn't your level but your skill and knowledge of the stealth tactics in swtor. x fire is important for role playing a nemisis so you can communicate from the republic to the empire players, x fire has many incredibl in game tools that make swtor much more fun, screen shots, in game video, web browsing, messaging, chat, voice, and file sending, I highly recomend it for all guilds because you can create and monitor forums without tabing out of swtor and guild members can check forums, and read news the same way.

Sometimes npc rivals are not enough, if you want a nemisis, a real live person honing their skills to defete you at every turn you can now find on on this community, http://www.xfire.com/communities/swtorroleplayers just add your character name and x fire profile and set up dates to challange each other, you can even start characters at the same time and lv race to power challanging each other in every pvp world. this is currently for the jung ma server but all are welcom. at the moment ive recently created a sith assassin named Balisk and im looking for a jedi of any kind to race me to lv 50 and test my skills along the way. at the moment i am lv 12 on this character, but if anyone is interested i will lv to meet the qualifications.

I was unaware of that rule, however Raven is a very common name, its the name of almost every character ive created when i get the chance to name my characters, I have no intention of using the name raven as an allias for a cannon character, I only intend to also be a character with that name, for example there are characters named Ben ridled throught Star wars lore, Ben Astar, Ben Hu'al, Ben Kenobi,and Ben Neluenf, are such example, so i see no problem with raven especially since i am raven alten, not reven, or another character named raven in star wars lore.

Ive officially unlocked the chiss race and i made a sith assassin named Rávèn my x fire is ravenalten Its not gona be fun leveling up again, but its woth it for guild identity. The guild master has been born.

Also, i have been using xfire to communicate with friends, and a while ago we used it for a guild in other games, but i was going to recreate my x fire to accomodate this new guild, so id like to get the entire guild up and running on x fire, mostly so we could have in game chat both text and talk, x fire is by far my favorite of all the team speak options, its like a facebook for gamers, it allows you to take in game videos, screenshots, and even brodcast your game online if you want it to, you can customize it aby way you want, and you can also send and receive files to your friends using the software. If you do not have x fire i highly recomend it, just go to google and type in x fire, create an account and download the game client. Its all free and is the best option for guild comunication especially in a game like swtor where the communicaton system could use some work.

Ive thouht a lot about it, and what im most personally interesed in is starting and rp guild with nothing but stealth classes, assassins and opperatives, I was thinking the guild name could be somthing along the lines of the shadow sindicate, and with an entire guild of stealths we could coordinate stealth ambushes in pvp and develope interesting tactics bringing something new to the game. I was also thinking about going to lv1 worlds and recruting players into becoming the stealth class version of the inquisitor and agent to join the guild and help lv them up. I would like to have a master and apprentice like bond between higher lvs and lower lvs, and when characters reach about lv 30ish, there next goal would be to go to the low lv worlds and recrute their apprentice. At the moment im maxed out in artiface so i was also thinking as the guild master i can really help all lvs with guild rewards such as light sabers and parts as a sign of acheivement. At the moment I am torn, because i really like my sith assassin character at the moment, but i want the guild master character to be the best representative for the guild in appearence and name, my current characters name is azmodeius and is ratataki, which is really cool for rp if you know the history if the people, but i was thinking a chiss assassin with a name like wraith, raven, spectre... or something along those lines would be better for apperences, so ive been thinking about unlocking the chiss race so i can start making the perfect guild master in appearance and name.

ive been thinking about making an assassins only guild, mostly because it would be hilarious to do pvp with nothing but stealth characters, at some point the oposing team would be affraid to rush empty basses in fear of a stealthy ambush. but on a more serious note, im definatly interested in a bounty hunters guild, im also on tomb of freedom nadd. Maybe the guild could charge for body guard status for non guild players looking for someone to help them with missions.

Luke sky walker used foce choke several times while infiltrating jabas palace, i can only asume since his father was a lv 50 sith juggernaught he got that legacy ability. also there are about as many force using traditions as there are types of rock music, some of witch use guns. There is much more to the star wars universe than jedi and sith. Personally i love the idea of using the force without being jedi or sith.
