  1. With the introduction to galactic strongholds, to which I am looking forward, I would like to toss around an idea I heard about from a new MMO, which is a housing crafter. I would like to see what the community would think of a crafter who, instead of crafting gear to sell, crafted vanity items such as carpets, furniture, paintings, taxedermy, etc. This crafter would require goods from ALL of the other crew skills, depending on what they want to make. What do you all think?
  2. I know you probably don't want to hear naggin. After all, I'm having a blast with my new starfighters. It's a really fun addition to an already fun game. There is one issue though that I want to address. Missiles. Right now, (at least as far as I've understood) you go out with a certain number of missiles. Once used, the only way to get more is to die. This in turn leads to purposeful deaths to reload payloads. I would like to see a pitstop/reload area back at your home base that you can return to in order to get a fresh supply. Make it far enough out of the way that the ships have to leave the contended to reload. That way, it still creates a similar 'out of play' moment to reload without incentivising death.
  3. I have to disagree. Certainly there's the ability to purchase the two ships with cartel coins, but that's only two ships. The other cartel purchases regarding this are cosmetic, and upgrades to any ship require playing, not paying.
  4. Mini games will be a welcome addition. I don't know about you, but an in game ccg would be pretty cool.
  5. Hi. I would just like to talk for a moment about the seriousness of this game. Most of the time, it feels like pure Star Wars Awesomeness. There are, however, two maps I have struggled to complete, Hoth and Belsavis. While it is epic to have such large maps with so much to do, I found myself, towards the end of each, just wishing I could get the maps over with and move on. Belsavis was so tedious for me, that I played one character up to that point, then made another character, which I played up to that point, left the game for unrelated reasons (internet issues), and had reservations about restarting it. I'm absolutely glad I did, but after contemplation, I think I know why I had a hard time... There is no major relief to the utter seriousness of my characters story line. I would like it if at some point in the middle of a large map like that, some sort of fun quest were put in place that seemed a little out of place. Maybe a Wampa found a helmet of some Sith or Jedi, that somehow attuned him to the force. Maybe he does really stupid scenes that throws him off a cliff and he just floats away. Maybe the quest is to chase him until you catch him in each area only to discover some new silly and futile new scene. Maybe at the end of the quest you save him for the fun you had or killed him for the frustration he caused. Just something optional that's humorously out of place in a galaxy of intrigue, violence, life and death decisions. Remember, there was a reason so many epic rpg's in the 90's and early 00's had pointless minigames. They offer a refreshing diversion that lets you take a break from the game without actually taking a break from the game. Oh, and if you've read this far, thanks
