Make sure you're guard swapping and don't forget to use both your regular taunt and your AoE taunt. Also make sure you stay in range of the person you're guarding, if not swap your guard, the best target to guard may not always be that melee or that healer.

If you're still in the Prologue Act just remake the character, it'll take like 2 hours to get back to whatever level you are.

I know I'm beating a dead stick with a horse but hear me out. I think the resolve system is utterly broken. Many times I get stunned while I'm full resolve. I've been knocked back, full resolve, then stunned, I don't know if it's the way the abilities were thrown saying they were pressed at the same time by two different people and then hit back to back. But, here is what I propose. I know you don't want to be 100% like WoW, but their system worked. Diminishing Returns. After a certain amount of CC/stuns, stuns/CC no longer worked, and every CC/Stun before the full DR hit, was reduced in time, making stuns/CC a lot less frustrating in my opinion. Also to clarify the roots affecting resolve, roots don't affect resolve because you still technically have control over your character, resolve affects the abilities where you lose total control of your character.

So, I'm level 27 just got Bowdaar, took Bowdaar out for a spin, his starting gear is better than the gear Corso was in, yet Bowdaar died so much faster, so should I use Bowdaar and gear him out more, or just keep Corso?

It takes 2 days to get BM gear, and you wouldn't need any BM geat on your alt except the belt/bracers/weapon.

Except Focus\Rage is the easiest class\spec in the game to competely shut down. And also, they have 1 spec that tanks, Focus\Rage is the squishiest if the three specs and they're one trick ponies.

I did physical testing of recruit vs fully augmented rakata, Another vigilance Guadian and i had a few duels, I came 29% short of beating him every duel. I tested this because of the really common argument, and so through multiple duels and coming 29% of beating him every time, id say fully augmented Rakata/Blackhole is better than Recruit gear.

Roots/slows don't make you lose control of your character, so... Against.
