  1. whatever new mmo game comes out,pve has always been the main concentration. pvp being almost an afterthought. we pvp players get 3 warzones,an open world pvp zone on that crappy sandplanet noone plays and ofcourse the evermagnificent illum who people rather see dissapear from the game altogether. we have the right to complain about the meager pvp content full of bugs. now be a good boy and sod off to your pve content.
  2. ive only played wow, rift & swtor. wow comes out on top for me followed by 'swtor' and as last 'rift'. and as silly as it sounds to most, main reason for my decision are the stealth classes for me. i loved the rogue in wow from the day i started playing, its a pure melee dps class. and even after trying every other class extensively i never had more fun than playing a rogue. the problem in swtor & rift is that they made the assassin in something it shouldnt be (tank,sorceror,healer....) and when you opt for the pure melee dps you end up with a halfassed class.
  3. that is becoming a tired argument, wow is out for 7 years, during that time we had guildwars, age of conan, rift and some others come out. so if a new mmo at this time like sw:tor releases their game with very little pvp content its just because they dont care. if one mmo makes mistakes, another can learn from it.but that never happens.
  4. the pvp in wow might not be the best but its still better than pvp in rift & sw:tor. like you said ,this game just mimicks the problems wow pvp has instead of learning from it. in wow i can atleast do some bg's & then switch to some arena with a friend. in this game pvp is 1 big grind to valor rank 100. and as always pvp content takes the backseat to pve eventhough the pvp community in mmorpg's has become huge. i played an assassin in both rift and sw:tor and both seemed to be classes the dev's did not care much about. the rogue's didnt always receive much love in wow but they were and still are infinitely more fun to play compared to the pale imitations the other games offer. im waiting to lvl 50 to decide what im going to do with this game,if pvp remains a boring rank grind i'll probably go back to wow as some mates are still playing. say what you will, but arena in wow was a real test of pvp skill and teamwork,sw:tor is a rankgrind with nothing much more.
  5. that option is not for assassins but for that other stealth class, unless they changed that since last wednesday when i checked the menu's.
  6. a person that obviously never played a stealth class properly and doesnt the understand the general idea of the stealthclass.its like complaining that a ranged class has to much range. you have no point, its just simple qq because you fail to handle a stealther.
  7. a bit dissapointed in the assassin sofar . they took al the fun skills from a warcraft rogue and made them crappier. its impossible to get a decent stunlock going on.and ofcourse there's this kickability that only works after a stun but cant be used in pvp. there is no stealthbar for the meager stealthabilities given in this game. in most warzones you just get zerged and it seems all classes can stunlock in some way. but my biggest fear is pvp at lvl 50,which seems like its going to turn out in 1 big grind to lvl 100. rift used a simular system that was so boring i quit the game for it. as im levelling i enjoy the storyline but i fear when that passes it will prove to be a dull game for the pvp players.
