  1. I see you guys added some additional bonus quests to the space missions...nice gesture...would be better if you had considered adding a "Finish Mission" button as well...nothing like cruising through railed-in space for an extra two minutes...still, its a start. Just got an ingame email from the GTN, saying someone bought something of mine, and I'll have the money in an hour...is this new? Why the hour delay?
  2. I guess I agree with your post. Its just a shame is all. And a massive let down. I kinda enjoy the space missions...and Im going to save enough comms just for the completely useless pilots outfit, but goddamnit...it could have been SO MUCH more.... I imagined space combat being tied into PvP somehow, you know...like whilst the PvP is happening on the planet surface...the scenario being the ground combat is paving the way for civilian shuttles to leave the planet...that you could be running space missions at the same time to clear a path for the exiting shuttles... Enough, this thread makes me depressed.
  3. The fact remains, recycled content in a "AAA" title...disappointing.
  4. I like being able to only have two gumps open at the same time. Its really cool. Also, regardless of what Im doing, I love my gumps closing whenever a companion gets back from a mission. Thats fun. #uiisfinenochangesneeded
  5. What I dont get, is the "50" people that want better/more, want it for everyone. Are you telling me youre happy with space combat? Are you happy with the UI? Are you happy with the same old same old? 15 years of MMO development and history to use and learn from and Bioware gave you this...you might be happy, and I might well one day leave, but until I get to voice my opinion.
  6. True. They simply forgot to mention just how pathetic many other aspects of the game would be, but hey, if youre willing to look past that in favour of some b grade voice acting and terribly designed cut scenes, awesome. Me personally? I just hope/expect/look forward to better.
  7. The part that itches most is thinking about how much better many aspects would have been had the time and effort and money wasted on the voice acting for non storyline missions been spent elsewhere. Bollocks.
  8. Finally got to level 28 and unlocked two more space missions only to find out one is a duplicate of an earlier mission except this time the fighters have shields. Really Bioware? I can look past the "on-rails" aspect for the time being...cause eventually you'll make things right (wont you...?) but talk about a slap in the face. Theres another group of missions to unlovk yet I think...what next, a redux of Archenar? Hadnt upgraded any of my ships parts for a while, hit up the vendor for some Grade 3 upgrades...only to find....that they arent upgrades at all, but merely a waste of time and money. I can appreciate the need for player made items to have value and use (Ive been a long time crafter in MMOs) but if youre going to remove every second level of upgrade from players crafting lists, and put them on NPC vendors, atleast make them worth the credits we pay. Seriously...this is the best you could do?
  9. Thats cause you never played SWG. Crafted items were the ONLY gear to use. You could buy something from an NPC, but it was generally crap. The only way to improve upon player crafted iems was to use drops/enhancements from mobs during the crafting process. Such a shame too, every time I open my crafting pane (and not just in SWTOR before anyones panties get all twisted up) I can only dream of a crafting system with real meaning, and not just some after thought tacked on at the end of development.
  10. Youve got Companions right? Bring up the crew skills window (N) Select the "Archeology" icon on the companion you wish to send out. When the Archeology window opens, use the drop down box in the top right hand corner and select Mission "Level 10-16" Select a mission that gives Power Crystals as a reward.
  11. Whats the point of being able to send my companions on crafting missions to collect materials that are for sale on NPC vendors at a cheaper rate each than the mission costs? For instance...Fibrous Nylon Solutions. 295 credits for the mission, returns ~16 solutions. Yet they are readily available to purchase for 10credits each from an NPC.
