So indirectly telling players who like to roll alts or just do things slowly they are not valued as much as players with lvl 50 characters or players who left the game is all cool in your world ? The ridiculous part about all this; it's marketed as celebration of Legacy, celebration that punishes players who like to roll alts when alts is what Legacy is about.

Yep. Players with lvl 50 toons >> ppl who quit the game >> players without lvl 50 toons. If you stayed loyal for 4 months but failed to reach lvl 50, you are not even worthy a free week that ppl who have quit the game get.

It's a PR disaster really. Instead of it being nice gesture appreciated by everyone, BW decided to be stingy about it and alienate portion of their playerbase just to save a few bucks. Job well done.

Technical difficulties are part of MMO experience. Sucking at PR should be much easier to avoid, but not for BW it's not.

No impact, this is just to went the disappointment. Last service you get from BW for your money so to speak. As to who actually cares ... I would assume that ppl on low pop servers are not really happy, but I may be wrong.

I don't know ... but BW must have a reason to think they can get away with it and that we won't mind. I uninstalled TOR already, was very smooth and quick, so thanks for that at least BW.

Even if they spit in your face it does not mean you are not valued player. They just think you are not going to quit anyway. Wipe the spit and keep paying.

All I can say to that is thx for the lecture, fu and bb. If BW thinks they have room to alienate more of the players, I think they are delusional, but that's just me.

Have to agree ... I don't like Blizz one bit, but after this I pre purchased D3. Subscription based MMOs, not worth the drama.

Yeah ... ppl who are likely to leave or who have left = valued customers. Rest are the morons who give BW money unconditionally.

Yep, they just picked the wrong one and piled PR fail on top of it. But that's ok. D3, GW2, TSW, TERA ... I have to make some sort of requirements for games I play as well and BW is the tiny minority that does not qualify anymore.

Well BW is not entitled to get my money either and after this they won't get any, so it's kind of fair.

It's just poor wording all around the announcement. In this case 30 DAYS OF PLAY TIME ON US.

If you are not subscribed, you get a week. If you have level 50, you get a month. Rest ? You are happy enough, you don't need anything ... it's still funny.

Player who has 1 lvl 50 gets free month, player who has 100 lvl 49 characters gets ignored, because he is playing the game wrong!

One would think that BW wouldn't want to alienate more players, but it looks like they have balls of steel ^^.

The trick is to level with average speed. If you are too fast or too slow, you are doing it wrong. And don't roll alts. That is mistake as well.

I think EwokMilkshakes reply is funny and fitting. When I give gifts I shouldn't be stingy about it. Is it really worth it for BW to alienate another portion of playerbase ? Especially since it includes ppl who are/were dedicated to the game ... I have to laugh. If nothing else BW is funny.
