  1. Yes, I have tried and looked at my heat. It is 25 heat per missile and the only reason why I noticed this was because there was a huge change in heat generation after the patch. After doing 3 tracer missiles for the armor reduction I have a significant amount of heat built up and in a PVP setting that is a huge problem. In PVE I can manage my heat with auto shots in between casts. In PVP I need to use abilities such as Jet Boost and Rocket punch after throwing up my 3 tracer missiles which puts me at a high heat making it very hard to utilize peels/knockbacks unless I have my Vent Heat up.
  2. Yes, lets stay on topic. It is a bug that is only affecting Mercenary, and not the mirror Commando.

  4. So many of you Arsenal specced mercenaries may have noticed an increase in heat when using tracer missile. I have looked through the talent tree and the talent Muzzle Fluting "Reduces the heat cost of Power Shot and Tracer Missile by 9" is not working. Tracer missile, what use to cost 16 heat now costs a full 25 totally disregarding the talent. I have asked a friend if he has noticed a change on his commando and his talent is not bugged. The commando talent Muzzle Fluting is working correctly and reduces the ammo cost from 3 down to 2. I thought this was a stealth nerf at first but then I compared the two mirror classes, commando and mercenary. The mercenary's talent Muzzle Fluting is not working, the commando's is. The heat cost of Tracer Missile and Power Shot should be 16. Please take a look for yourself and I would love if an Admin could post acknowledging this issue, it is a very big deal for Mercenaries in PVE and PVP.

  6. I agree that cover is currently a broken mechanic but most everything else I disagree with and I think that you need to learn how to hunker down. Cool animations? XS Freighter Flyby and Riot Screen are one of the coolest moves in the game imo. I do extremely well on my Gunslinger in warzones and in pve. Yes sharpshooter is an immobile spec but if you learn to play it well you can destroy most anything.
  7. Exactly, all of these replies are exactly what I am dealing with now as a 50 smuggler and since all of my main Sharpshooter abilities are totally dependent on cover which is definitely not working as it should. I also would love to hear some sort of acknowledgement on the cover bugs.
  8. Yup, insane line of sight issues I ended up having to die and revive, skipping the last set of mobs.
  9. So I thought that smugglers would get some attention this patch as far as bug fixing goes but seems as though they werent even mentioned. Moving cover is bugged to where one cant even cast an aim shot or charged shot without a cancel cast. Stationary cover is bugged because it cancel casts all casts occasionally. Speed shot is also bugged to where it shows the channel bar casting but no damage is put out. Changes that need to be made are fixes to these bugs of course and cover needs to be taken off global cooldown. If all a class is dependent on a mechanic to do any key abilities then it shouldnt take 3 seconds to get in cover. After getting into cover there is always a chance that shots will cancel cast which happens all of the time. At some points I cannot even get a casted shot off for 30 seconds leaving my opponent at full health and me at 15-20% making a comeback impossible. Please fix cover and this cancel cast issue. It starts to get frustrating when the mechanic my class revolves around is severely bugged not to mention the shots I fire while in cover. Another odd thing I have noticed is that my damage has decreased in pvp after leveling up and getting better gear. My aim shot use to hit for 500-1000 damage more at lower levels and now that I am 50 it has gone down. Gradually after getting higher ranks of aim shots/levels and gear the damage has gone down significantly.
