could someone tell me how u get sweeping fire ability which lets u fire off yr guns into the air thanks

I have just got my shadow consular lvl 11 & chose Shadow. I have both Focus & a Shield. I am mainly interested in leveling as a DPS so do I pick Focus or Shield and what would be the best tree to go down. I know I could be a tank & guard but I have only light Armour so I concerned that I would not be very good or long lasting in a fight. I just like the idea of stealth and other abilities that the shadow has. Thanks for all your help

I would like to thank you both for your very helpful advice , especially to kitru for a very thoughtful lengthy explanation & the time it took you. I am seriously deciding to go the KC skill route and Kitru, could you please explain a little more about the tank stance for my comps. I intend to guard Qyzen but is there something else that I should do. I love the shadow & the trouble I find when guarding others (healers) is that i always seem to get a healer that doesn't perform well. My other toon is a sage so I know about healing & what I do. In some ways I find that I am able to keep my sage alive through things that the shadow cant do. It is the sage ability to heal that increases survivabilty. Thats why I put in my original question, I was trying to find out how to increase survival. Thanks all

Hi, Ive got to lvl 22 & i am trying to understand how my shadow works with regarding:- Sometimes I find that when fighting a boss my health bar stays pretty much full,,, other times it goes down pretty quick. I have tried to understand what is affecting my health but am lost. I have put skill points in the following 3 = infiltration tactics 2 = shadows respite 3 = force energy 2 = jedi restance 1 = double handed sabre 2 = technique mastery Your help very greatly appreciated

Hi , I love the bounty hunter & choose powertech because I wanted to tank. I am finding though that a lot of healers don't know what they are doing or there are to many tanks in a group so Im not really tanking,,, So Rather than be a pure tank can I do both & put up my shield when tanking & generater when im DPS. I know its not the best doing hybrid so whats the best advice for me. Sorry if this has previously been asked But BW do not have a forum finder service Thanks all

Thanks guys for your answers. I had a choice of the Black / yellow Fortitude giving 4 endurance &, a Orange Resolution giving 7 endurance. I just wondered which was the better choice for a Sorc , mainly healer. cheers

As a sorc I have 2 crystals, a fortitude one & a resolution one. Which one is more suitable for my lightsaber Where can I find further details about this Thanks for help

Having run a Guardian (tank) & Shadow (dps) to lvl 19 I feel that the shadow is more fun & seems more powerful. Ok, so now I want to run the Shadow as a Tank so I can be more useful. My Question is, as a shadow tank & going up the tanking tree Do I change my offhand to Shield or keep it to focus ?? i know it may seem obvious but I would like to hear from those whom are very experienced with the Shadow & tanking it. Thanks for that. Would I just use shield {for off hand} all the time or would I change back to focus when not tanking?

I would appreciated a little help as I have made a guardian & whilst I would love to be a full blown tank I do not have experience & dont want to be ridiculed for that. Other toons are sage & shadow. An Off tank would be more better i feel but I am confused as to what to have as offhand, do I choose Focus or Shield or change as appropriate. If you can further help with a good hybrid build my thanks.

I am a little uncertain as to what to do. I am wanting to purchase Focus and am going infiltration. I am lvl 18 and previously Willpower has ALWAYS been higher than endurance, Now I find that in most cases it is lower by at least 7 - 10 points and if purchased it will bring my total willpower down and increase my total endurance. I always thought that for a Shadow Willpower is the most important followed by endurance & then power. Am I wrong here ? Thank you for your help here

On Nah Shaddaa at the Network assess location there is a Quest giver called Major Daarus,,, problem is he is not there. Is there something I,m missing or is this a bug?? Thanks for help with this

I am lvl 27 in Nah Shadah & lately I have found that the ability WIRLWIND uded to last at least 60 seconds, now I am lucky if it last 5 - 10 seconds & very very rarly does it go for longer. Is there something I can do to improve on this as I find that 5 seconds is pretty useless. Thanka All

Hi, As an assassin & when picking Hilts & Mods etc I am not sure which is best in terms of type, ie ,,, would I pick Resolve , fortitude,or resolve,, these are all willpower which is my main stat. Is there a link to more info on the assassin which so far lvl 13 I love. Thanks all

thanks all for yr helpful advice. BUT I am trying to make button 2 as the take cover & not roll AND button 2 goes into the cover additional abilitiies. I can map that onto anther button it seems but not 2 ,,, weird

I am trying to set up cover so that you dont roll all the time {possibly into problems. I want to setup button 2 so that I take cover {not roll} & it ALSO engages the COVER ONLY abilities which I can then use button 2 for Snipe. I just cant seem to grasp how to do it so I would appreciate if some helpful person out there can help me Thankyou

Hi All After trying all the different characters I simply love the gunslinger / sniper. I tried to extend that enjoyment to a scoundral {for healing} but got lost in the mechanics of it all. Are Scoundral & the Operative exactly the same in there healing mechanics ?. Is there an easy to understand Link to running a healer scoundral / operative as I really dont want to give up on this great class as a healer. Am i right in that I have read it is the best healer in SWTOR. I thank all that can help me in this quest.

As an offhand weapon I have a shotgun which can only be used by special abilities. I cant seem to find these special abilities so how can I better use my offhand?\ Thks all

This makes a farce in trying to complete all the codex,,, ie, theres NO enjoyment in knowing you have completed it so why bother trying to. Is there any rewards if it was completed??

What a pain, UNLESS you are a smuggler you cannot complete the codex for coruscant. Is there any way round this as it makes the fun of completing this very disappointing. Come on Bioware fix this
