  1. on my 35th bag with nothing but comms to show for it. I quit PVPing at 50 because of it and started a low level alt to just enjoy the game without the retarded gear loot system. Once she is 49 I will do it again.

My experience is low on the Merc ATM being that I am only 21 but I got to 21 by pvping first as healer up to 20 then went arsenal at 21 due to not enough bulk in healing to feel to useful in pvp whereas in Arsenal I can eliminate the person harassing the ball carrier faster than healing through their damage. Also I have a 50 Juggernaut that I pvp on which could be disputed as a high control player in pvp. Generally if I am trying to eliminate someone from the field and they are a class with a lot of control or an interrupt and they close the gap on me I will start with power shot to bait their interrupt and if that doesn't then I will flame thrower them. That ability will usually get you the goods, follow that up with a knockback/electroshot and start unloading on them again with tracer. Granted I don't have a vast tool set at 21 but I feel that we have enough channeled abilities to bait the average player, and up against a more competent one you can always fake cast. But that being said in Huttball at low levels I have realized my place in the warzone, and while I can run the ball, without proper defensive CD's and other tools I find I am much more adept at controlling the number of people harassing my ball carrier or team.
  3. If I had a dime for every time I got 1 shot by vicious throw from exactly 20% I could pay for 2 months sub....lol it hits like a truck.
  4. beacuse Juggs have 2 roles... Tank (War Leader) DPS (weaponmaster?) Marauder's have 1 spec....DPS, it's pretty obvious. I mean if you want a marauder set with defense, absorb and shield rating im sure the rest of the marauder community would stand behind you on that.

  6. BIOWARE listened to your feedback, they took the great concept of the PVP gear bag RNG and rolled it into the Daily/Weekly quest count. Now to make it more interesting and exciting you get to see if your win counts. Also that little protip above me is garbage. I've track/untracked/logged out/held one hand in the air/etc and im still 2/3.....abandoned the quest and guess what...2 counted...and not the 3rd.

  8. And I could still care this much |-| because everything I care about doing I can do with 3-5 people or less. I still play EQ and it's low pop......same with RIFT, AION, etc. People want immediate gratification and rewards, I enjoy the grind. Today's generation wants everything handed to them rather than working for it. Granted there are still kids/young adults who have great morals and values and still reflect an older generation, but sadly today's generation wants everything NOW....and when they don't get it they make threats and threads like this one in hopes that they can get backing from other people to feel more powerful/in the right on their standing. Granted this isn't always the case but it's highly trended and common, and one who vouches likewise is highly jaded. I'm in no way saying the current gearing system is what it should be but more or less commenting on the threats people like to give the companies.
  9. And not a single F**K was given. I enjoy leveling, raiding, PVP and PVE. All of which I can do even when the server pop is low. And I didn't "insist" he/she leave, just told them I was glad another crybaby left.

Not sure what you are basing your statement off of as last night (January 22nd) my Juggernaut was replicated 6 times on the first pull (2nd clone phase), 3 times on 2nd pull (1st clone phase), and 4 times on 3rd pull (last clone phase). This was all in addition to our Merc being spawned 1-4 times as well as our Sniper and Operative. So that right there shows that it isn't relative to class.
  12. They do grant the social points, the point of collection or awarding of the points is granted upon completion of the quest of the zone. If you just leave after the last boss and don't complete the quest you won't get them. Point in case would be BT/Esselles, If you leave after the last boss and don't go to the computer in BT and then back to the bridge up to the point where you select to return to the fleet or head to Drummond Kaas then you don't get the Alignment points or the Social points you gained.

I don't know what to tell you then, I que with 3 other friends in quest blues and a piece or 2 from hardmodes and my 1 chamion helm piece, same goes for the other 3 but I think 1 has 2-4 pieces of champ. Poor coordination, poor skill level idk, we play on Grand Master Zymm server and repubs like every other server are outnumbered 10:1 but we still get our Ilum and warzone dailys done. PVP atm revolves heavily around taking a group in with you.
  14. You apparently do not understand what I am saying as it has nothing to do with medals gained, only WINS in a warzone match. The warzone daily requires you to win 3 a day to grant either a Battlemaster Box or a Champion Bag...there is no stipulation on medals gained during a match. And as far as the Repubs Vs Imps, I play both and it takes about 3-6 matches both sides to get my daily done.
  15. In actuality it takes 3 Warzone WINS a day to get a champion bag too, so this "woe is me" thought process for 1 champ bag ground out through commendations is a little over the top.

  17. Bumping this in hopes to get an official response. It's sad that all the champ gear I have has stats on it that don't apply to the large majority of damage I receive. I really felt like my time to live had increased with this gear but it a false sense of security since its just the increased hp that's letting me live just a small amount longer.
  18. What is it again exactly that Juggernauts and Guardians spam? IIRC correctly the only ability I CAN spam without a CD is Assault, which is your level 1 ability that hits like a wet noodle. After that we come to Sundering Assault...4.5sec CD (still hits like a wet noodle) but applies a stack of armor reduction. This brings us to Force Scream which has a 12sec CD. So yeah...can't really spam out on those Jugg/Guards

I'm a 50 Immortal spec Juggernaut and do both PvP and PvE, my character has the 2pc tier 1 PvP set and assorted epics and I tank fine, but my incoming damage is quite large and my output is quite low (yes, I'm gearing correctly and using my abilities in the proper order). I compare this with my 46 assassin who is also questing on Voss and taking less damage and outputting a larger amount of damage (the assassin is also tank spec). I'm all for a challenge, but the disparity between these 2 tank specs is just not quite right, and while I have heard that powertech is well above the guardian and juggernaut I have not experienced it first hand by playing one yet, that is coming after I finish the assassin. TL : DR I leveled a tank spec Jugg to 50 got some gear , tank fine but the damage output is low and the damage incoming "feels" a little high. Also in the process of leveling a tank assassin (currently at 46) and is doing more damage with quite low gear and doesn't seem to be taking the larger amount of incoming damage.
  20. Although it would be nice, I really don;t see the need. I am able to harvest more mats than I can use for my Synthweaving with the only limiting factor being the blue and purple metals from Underworld Trading. Granted my experience may differ from yours but currently I have about 200 grade 5 artifact fragments and about 100 grade 6 from Belsavis, with numerous varied color crystals (which I just sell) and a plethora of the power crystals. This is just from doing the quests today on Belsavis up to and including the Bonus series.

  22. Quake causes your Smash to DECREASE the ACCURACY of your targets hit by smash by 5%. This decreases your incoming damage by leading to less accuracy and potentially completely missed hits on you. This talent is not a damage boost for you but a damage taken reduced. All Battle cry does is allow you 1 possible free rage scream at the beginning of battle (more if you are able to get far enough out to use force leap again. The only reason I have 1 point in it is to unlock the next tier. As a tank remember if you are tanking 1-5 mobs if you can reduce their chance to hit you by 5% that is significant. As a side note in PVP this can help a considerable amount as well for those people over 100% accuracy.

I'm having a horrible brain moment atm and I'm attempting to see how much 1 point of defense and 1 point of shield rating contribute to their percentages and how many points it takes to get 1% of said rating. If my defense has 19 points and grants an additional 1.38% then does each point contribute 0.07263%, and 13.xx points gives roughly 1% defense rating?

  25. I'm unsure where your guildie is getting the 4% increased Endurance since there is no talent in Immortal for it... Honestly if you want to tank you shouldn't be concerned with damage output as that is not what your role focuses on for the group. Your job is to control the aggro on the mobs and to take AS LITTLE damage as possible while doing it so your healer can heal others due to AoE/mistakes/loose mobs..etc. The healer can also dish out more dps in downtime than you would most likely be able to do while tanking in a Veng spec. Also you lose out on a serious amount of mitigation not going Immortal as follows: 6% Ranged Defense 6% Melee Defense Additional 6% Melee and Ranged Defense while Retaliation buff is up. 4% Shield chance The damage absorb shield that Force Scream grants. 4% Internal damage reduction. 4% Elemental damage reduction. You lose Backhand. You lose Invincible. So let us add that up for quicker understanding. 24% combined mitigation static and an additional 12% for 6 seconds after using retaliation (which in combat is up at least 90% of the fight). So it's safe to say you are losing 36% mitigation. Not having an additional tanking CD that reduces ALL damage taken by 40% is significant to say the least. You also lose out on the increased rage regeneration from Sweeping Fury and the 50% duration increase on Endure Pain. Here is the build I use http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101dMGcudrouRZhZM.1. This build gives you 4 fluff/filler points to spend either on increased strength (more damage), increased accuracy (more damage), Increased crit (more damage), or to lower the Cd on your AoE taunt and Force Push by an additional 7.5 seconds. As far as companions, I used Vette exclusively unless I was doing a Heroic 2+ or 4 as solo.
