  1. So I have played an imperial sniper up to 35 and I just started up a smuggler and there's a key difference in balance I've noticed early in levels. On the sniper I can wind up my "Snipe" (empire equivalent of "Charged Burst") and as soon as it fires I hit explosive probe (republic equivalent is "Sabotage Charge") and the probe will land before the snipe hits and both will go off at the same time. It effectively gives the sniper a large burst. Now let me once again say that I started doing this at level 4 when both of those skills were acquired. My smuggler is now level 9 and I've experimented with it a lot since I was convinced that it should be the same system. I queue up the Charged Burst and then immediately hit sabotage charge to get the burst damage I want. But there is a problem with the animation in sabotage charge that causes it to take longer to arrive than the empire equivalent. The sabotage charge is thrown at the enemy, whereas the empire's probe comes down from the sky instantly. That animation timing alone effectively ADDS one ENTIRE GCD to get that burst damage that the Imperial Agent naturally has. Has anyone else noticed this? This seems like a serious error to me.
  2. This ^! This is a great idea in my mind. Similar to what WoW did with the reward bags for specific roles in the dungeon finder.
  3. This sounds like a great idea. Not only would it be fun to discover how to use end game specs in solo content, but it would also be a chance to do something that furthers your end-game character along without having to group up. I'm not a fan of daily quests. Something about the mentality of a lot of minorly rewarding quests doesn't appeal to me. But if there were a solo flashpoint that gave you rewards equal to maybe doing an hour of dailies, I would be much more behind it.
  4. lol... ya... level 32 and you clearly know everything about everything.
  5. So I leveled to 50 with vengeance. I respecced immo for a few class quests but mostly did the entire thing in vengeance and I remember thinking that it wasn't bad. I could generally get 3rd or 4th in overall damage in pvp and could solo elite quest mobs etc etc... Now that I'm fifty and I'm seeing the kind of numbers put out by other classes and other people I'm wondering if I should even bother trying to gear myself up. I tell myself that the reason I'm being out dpsed right now is because I'm in greens/blues/artifacts and no purples and that when I get gear to match other 50s my damage will jump. Has anyone actually had experience with jugg dps? Is it a waste of my time? Thanks!
