Pretty sure you know how to find me on pub or imp side, just hit me up if need me for anything. I have been working on a sage, but it's not 60 yet since I've been busy with other stuff.

I actually haven't moved her yet, haha. I'm not sure if Harb is where I'll put her, or even if I do end up transferring that toon. I just want a better balance of imp vs pub. (But that's an entirely different train wreck. ) ^^^ Mostly all of this, and more. And before anyone complains about our shield being what it is, I've died through that as well since there's a millions ways to outright stop someone now without having to build a full resolve bar.

Honestly, I do nothing but heal on my merc/commando. I'm still doing just fine for regs, but I've also been accused of being a masochist. Kind of a weirdo that way, but I never really enjoyed merc dps, just the healing aspect of it. I did notice that Healing Scan is putting out *slightly* higher numbers, but with the train wreck that we are at the moment, I'm afraid that anything positive I might have to say might be misconstrued as "Oh, the class is fine then, no change needed."

It's definitely an interesting idea. I'd be down for at least listening in on valid and reasonable suggestions/open discussions on some QoL changes for our class. Also, your signature indicates you're on JC. I main a merc and a sniper, and I play both every day in pvp. This patch was just a real pita in terms of crossing my fingers and hoping against hope that *some* of our feedback had gotten through to the developers. (I'm not talking about whining, or crying. I'm talking about thought-out, constructive feedback and a request for consideration of some very excellent ideas from a community of one class that tried their best to offer logical solutions on improving their status quo without affecting the balance of other classes or PVE too much.) I'm not talking about being a regstar, and only doing 8 v 8 PVP maps with a gajillion random factors such as 2 tanks and 3 healers on your team, or the other team. At some point in your regstar career, you hit a wall where you'd like to try to attempt ranked, or get in on the ranked scene. There are some really exceptional mercs out there that may and will thrive in ranked possibly depending on circumstances such as group comp, or overall server skill-pool, but the majority would probably agree that we could use some love in the survivability department. I've tried other classes, and these are the two that I LOVE to play. I don't play other classes, and honestly at this point I'm just resigned to it being what it is.

The reason is because Gunslingers are beautiful creatures born of the mystical reaction of a when a Jedi Knight's lightsaber touches a rainbow, thus creating a rarely-seen fusion of light and space that can only culminate in creating a Gunslinger when the moon reaches its zenith during an eclipse. Their lesser, or darker cousins, the Snipers, only have an 70% uptime to their abilities, and are more commonly found in their natural habitat, in which they create themselves when they use their native ability, called "Entrench". (En-trench /inˈtren(t)SH,enˈtren(t)SH/). Gunslingers also have this ability to an extent, called "Hunker Down" (Hunk - er Down /ˈhəNGkər/ /doun/), except this ability is 100 times more powerful, and will shoot arrays of light rays and laser beams when activated. My recommendation, good sir, is to run if you encounter one of these "Gunslingers", and instead go after their more commonly occurring cousin, the "Sniper", in order to win yourself a trophy.

Nice guide, thanks for writing it Cinerous. I would make one suggestion though, if that's alright. You might want to put some title headers in your guide, and just re-colour them, or try re-colouring some of the sections themselves so it's not one long block of yellow text. It'll help people to differentiate the different sections you have in there.

Just a suggestion sir, it usually helps to up your viewer rate if you specify which side you're playing on. (Republic or Imperial)

If anybody has a right to be salty about the state of Republic pvp, it would be Andi. She's more than done her part to keep pub pvp strong for a long time now with a lack of support. She probably pvp's more on the pub side than she does on imp side to be honest. Calling her out like this is slightly disrespectful considering the time she's put in on her pub toons. I can understand her apathy, and I don't blame her for it. I'm pretty sure her intention wasn't to insult you, it was to just highlight the fact that there are others besides you that have been hopelessly throwing themselves into trying to revive pub side pvp for a longer period of time, and I'd think that you'd want supporters to believe in what you're attempting to resurrect, not criticize them, if that's truly what you intend on doing.
