  1. Also thank you ArinDarcast as well. With 58 pages of this, it was a needle in a haystack.
  2. You are 100% correct, I didn't even think about that. And my system has 4GB, so this would be of no value to me. Thanks.
  3. I've tried looking this up, but was unable to find if anyone else asked this (I did find one, but it was brushed off). I am a Windows XP user. I cannot afford to upgrade to Windows 7/8. I am wonder if this program has been tested with Windows XP and if it will work?
  4. Bumping this up. I'm hoping someone has done this or can think up an idea of how to test how well someone is at healing, that measures their rotation and quick thinking against one another. How great would it to be to have a way of measurement for healing, to set a standard and to rise above it and compete against each other in a fair and effective way.
  5. In my guild, we measure our performance doing a TorParse for TPS and DPS. We do this by going to the Operations Dummy on Gav Daragon and do our rotations for 5 minutes measure how much damage over time or threat over time we can maintain. However, we don't know how to do something similar for healing. How we could just go into an ops and measure it from there, but we need a test that would give a standard time for each type of healer that would really measure their ability in rotation. And a test that would be fair for Scoundrels, Commandos, and Sage healers (which is asking a lot) or a test that would result in a rating for each class. Does anyone have any idea of how to test healers in a controllable environment?
  6. I would like to correct mistake on my part. It appears there are 20 social outfits you can wear...none of which represent something my character would actually wear (Voss outfit being a close possibility). And will take me forever to get to, because I need social V, which I only have social III, almost Social IV, but I'm too busy grinding PvP and Dailies so I can do PvP and PvE, how we throw a social requirement into the mix just so I can have some RP aspect to the game. How do I know Bioware/EA are not planning to do the things i desire? One, EA is an evil corporation and I don't care if they see this message. They are evil and just don't care about anything or anyone above the concept of making money. Bioware seems to care about their fans, to a degree (what was up with DragonAge 2?) and could possibly do it, however, how will they know that said thing needs to be done if I do not express how I feel. You know, the thing they encourage us fans to do? It's not griping, it is providing them insight in what we think of their product.
  7. I agree with this sentiment. When I saw that there were soooooo many costume options, I got excited that I could have a near custom look that matched my RP needs. Then I learned that in order to do PvP effectively at 50, I need to get PvP gear, and the same with FP and HM need PvE gear. So in essence I must be a cookie cut image of everyone else to be my best? Sure, I can remove mods and put them in other armour, but then I miss out on bonuses. So all someone has to do is look at what I'm wearing to determine what I am capable of (yes I know people can inspect me, but that actually takes more time than just a visual check). Now with the Social Gear to create a "custom" look. At first I was excited, I can keep my white robe and have my actual armour underneath, until I realized that they probably have a few pregenerated designs and this "custom" look is really just looking like everyone else with a few options. And we'll have to sit there and grind for items, because doing Dailies is worth my time for what I get in return (Sarcasm). Bioware, I caution you, you have good ideas but then you only go so far with them. And leave us with a bitter taste in our mouth when we realize that one must spend two weeks of doing the EXACT same thing over and over again just to afford an ear piece or an implant. Or get enough for special armour. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be an investment, but by the rate I'm able to give to play, all my friends will be uninterested in the game when I'm ready to do FP and HM. And all my time is taken up doing Dailies than working on my other characters. So the only people who can invest in all these things, now Social Gear for "custom" looks, are those who can play the game all day long. I'm sorry Bioware, I work full time, so I can get the extra money to pay for this game. But I digress, the social gear is a bad idea, but it is good intentions. Please consider making a cosmetic slot where we can throw a robe in, and some other gear. Make another tab for this purpose. So I can look how I want while having the armour I worked so hard for.
  8. The Emperor has been defeated, yet the war still rages on. The Republic would convince you there is still a peace treaty, but those on the front line would tell you differently. Griseus Farran, a Grey Jedi Knight and council member, was asleep on his ship. He had completed a tough mission that took much of his energy and needed to recuperate that energy. For the most part his rest was peaceful. He didn't really dream, or at least he didn't remember his dreams. But this sleep was different. He had flashes of images come to him. He couldn't make sense of it. It was like his ships video comlink going through different channels very quickly. As he slept more, the images got more and more intense. He tried to focus in his mind, to make sense of it all. But there was no hope of doing that, and soon, the images came to him as a solid white light, but he felt pain, like a drill going through his head. He woke up with a loud scream. His room and the rest of the ship shook around him. It took him a moment for the pain to subside and the realization that he was no longer dreaming. He tried to focus on the images, but they were quickly disappearing. Whatever he experienced, it was no dream. He got out of bed and put on his robe. He left his room and headed to the bridge. His ship was silent. Since the crippling blow of the Empire, his crew went their separate ways with a promise to be there if ever a need arose. His droid remained, having nothing else to do. Their location was the middle of nowhere. It's where Griseus preferred to be. It helped calmed his mind. He sat in one of the chairs near the window. He looked out at the stars and let his mind wander, having no real thought. He often tried to think of nothing, but rarely did that happen. As his mind began to think, an image came to him. It was blurry and far away. He knew, not sure how, this was an element from his dream. His mind focused, and he began to meditate, trying to bring that image to him. He tried, but despite the sheer effort, the image disappeared. The Force was trying to tell him something, trying to guide him. It has so many times before, but this time, his resolve was weak. He needed a boost to try to understand what it was saying. He looked at the galactic map, and wondered where he could go. Tython was an obvious choice, but since becoming Grey, he tried to stay off the Jedi Council radar as much as possible. Many other planets were force sensitive, but none so much more than Ilum. He knew that was where he needed to go. He set a course for Ilum. Yes, Ilum. Somehow, knowing he was going to Ilium felt right. Thanks to hyperspace travel, he was there in no time. He set docking procedures and went to his room to get his equipment. Once he was docked he moved through the station without interacting with anyone. He got to the shuttle and went down to the planet. Ilum is hard to explain. It's primary export is lightsabre crystals, but it is the force that help forge the crystals found on this planet. The way the force flows, is like a river. Mutliple streams converging together. The peace of the river is what draw the Jedi here, and the turbulence of the connection points is what draw the Sith here. But as a Grey, Griseus felt all of it at once. What he felt was not multiple rivers coming together, but one river breaking up into many. Reaching out like fingers across the planet, holding Ilum. The force here was a truer example of Grey energies than anywhere else, even that of Voss. Voss was powerful for a Grey, but in a different way. And any other day he might go Voss, but today the Force drew him here. From the spaceport he walked. He closed his eyes and opened himself to the force, letting the force guide him. After an hour he opened them again and found himself isolated. He knelt down and began to meditate. The image was distant at first, but as the force went through him, flowing a constant stream, he was able hold on to it and bring it closer. At first the images went by fast just like when he was sleeping, but he focused and forced it to slow down. It played out for him. He saw a figure, he saw this figure clear as day. He knew this figure, all too well. And now as he identified this person, the images went back to fast once again. But this time it didn't hurt, he allowed it to happen. More than that, he understood. Faster and faster it went, and the more he learned. Once again there was a bright flash, but instead of causing him to scream, he passed out for the sheer intensity of the vision. He had laid there for several hours. He woke to the vision of the stars. He was unaware of how much time passed, and for a moment, disorientated. He was confused as to why he was here. But then the memories of his vision returned. Once they returned back, he knew what had to be done. He called for an emergency shuttle pickup to the spaceport. From there he took a shuttle to his ship and get back into space. He set a course to Voss and sent a message to all Grey's of his order, both former Jedi and Sith alike. He must deliver a message to them, and hope it is not too late.
  9. You've inspired me with a response. At level 10, take the crew skills that will gather you equipment, and just collect that until level 30, or your storage gets full. I'm currently doing slicing, biochem and bioanalysis. This allows me to create health packs and get money.
