  1. Without wishing to send this thread offtopic - what title? I know I'm missing a bunch of titles, but what LS Bunter title did I miss?
  2. Two more times te scenario without a NCP out, both times the conversation worked for me. Now I suspect there may be something in this theory.
  3. Killed a boss without the NCP out, and could talk to him. However, sometimes it would work anyway, so one correct occurence isnt yet confirmation of the bug's source. Just anecdotal for folk to chew on.
  4. Thanks for the NCP sugesiton. I do indeed always have out the CE pet. I will test this theory, and indicate in this thread.
  5. Interestiung bug. On almost all quests which involve beating up someone in a phased area and then talking to them when they ar down, I get a bug which does not allow me to talk to them. The enemy will go Greean and have the talk icon, and my qest log will update with "Talk to X" but when clicking on them it says "You are ineligible for this conversation". Whilst the mob is Green, it's animation is often a little off, like it is trying to go down (like a person going to their knees) but not always making it down. They can often stay in combat stance, and I've even hd one fight with 2 characters where the one you talk to after (you kill the other one) goes Green but continues to heal the mob I have to kill! This only seems to occur in personal phases, never when grouped with another player. It occurs in both class and world questlines, and I would estimate it happens almost every time. The fix appears to be to leave the phased area wait a couple of seconds, and reenter. Now strangely, when leaving the area, the mob will often foolow you or warp to you as you run out, and most of the time will be waiting at the entrance to the phase when you reenter. After then coversing with them (as the bug is cleared by this process), you emerge from the conversation back at the end of the area so you have to run all way out again! I've spoken to all my guildmates, and noone else is experiencing this. I wondered at first if it was a Bounty Hunte only problem, but other BH do not have this. Has anyone come across this weird, not gamebreaking but immersion-breaking, bug? I will ticket this anyway, but was wondering if I am alone here!
  6. I mentioned to my guildies the grass popping in so close was probably my biggest complaint, it was so removing to see a small hillock suddenly take shape as the grass populated on top of it! Well that, and the flickering tree leaves during cut scenes on Balmorra. 8) I figured the grass wouldn't be fixed, but the leaves would be, for release.
  7. Am so looking forward to creating a toon on my guild-allocated server, which is, apparently, FULL on day 1 of EGA. 8)
  8. Proof please. (Hint - quoting another poster claiming to be in will not be considered proof)
  9. On the basis that they planned 4 waves, and, due to the faster release of the waves onto live, they are doing 5 waves today instead, it becomes clear they genuinely cannot say who will be in when. They are clearly being proactive to their (what they consider cautious, and what we consider extremely cautious!) schedule and bringing forward some of tomorrows invites already. Now let's all sit around and sing songs, build a campfire or something. It'll be dark soon, and they mostly get arrows in the knee at night. Mostly.
  10. Everyone who claims to be in game and has registered in September or last week is lying. Absolutely lying and trolling to annoy you, and it is working. There is absolutely and unreservedly only one way in which they are not lying.... they post a screenshot of their account page (with personally identifying data blanked out ofc) with the registration date and with the ega active message. Noone in 4000 posts has supplied this screenshot - becuase it does not exist. End. of.
  11. My only real disappointment in the process so far is that they clearly planned 4 waves around 2-3 hours apart, yet we only find out the last wave of the day will be in a couple of hours. Which means 10 hours or so of the "day" starting at 7am EC is known non-invite time. The knowledge that waves would only be announced during half of the available time period for announcements would have been helpful for player's plannings of their time. Knowing the last invite would be in an hour or two means they could arrange other evenings activities a lot earlier. So thank you BW for letting us know wave 4 is the last, but perhaps some statement of this particular aspect of your EGA strategy should have been announced earlier.
  12. Is this the best pulled out of a backside statistic I've seen all day, or what! Actually, it's true, I reckon more than 1/3 of the population of the planet played SW Beta. The hyperbole is strong in this one.
  13. You make an excellent case for cancelling. Well reasonaed and infallible. So why haven't you done so already? I hope you reconsider, and stay in the game. If you do leave, however, you make your point valid.
  14. Eu servers are mixed into the US list, and have "N/A" as the timezone. I reported this to Rockjaw on twitter about 2 hours ago, I am sure they are aware.
  15. I am starting to wish I hadn't come to the forum, due to the inflated number of "entitled people". I accept and understand that anything before 20th Decmeber is a bonus, even if I personally end up waiting a day or two past my friends. Bonus is bonus. However this post makes a reasonable case for them to examine the server loads and ramp up if appropriate. Chod makes his point reasonably and succintly. Well done mate. An oasis of class in a desert of drivel.
