Hello, I came back from a few year hiatus from Swtor a couple weeks back, recently transferred here and I am looking for an active and sociable guild! I have played mmos for a long time, WoW for the better of 12 years so I have plenty of experience to offer! My main character is on the Empire, name is Elyndrys

Yes, I agree completely in terms of speed Torian is by far the best choice. I guess as a tank I never really had an issue killing things and never really felt like my speed was lacking :/

I completely understand your point and I have used him for a bit but as for me.. I use mako all the time just for the sheer fact that in unexpected times when Mobs have re-spawned or that actual players have attacked me I like having a healer with me and I keep mako as geared as I am. It's simply a preference, on my dps toons I prefer a tank to keep stuff off me, and on my Tank i prefer a healer so I can pull as many Mobs as I feel I can handle with a healer.. and I can pull many mobs at once.. To each his own

38 shield-tech at the moment and I have no issue with killing things, I stay fairly well geared for my level and honestly with Rocket punch almost always crit and flame sweep also on a high crit i find it easy to pump out damage, Honestly, I have more issue with strong than elite but if you utilize Oil slick + flame sweep (mainly for dmg red) + stun when available it is hardly an issue at least for me. Gear will determine a lot of this seeing as I currently have roughly 47% dmg reduction overall I have plenty of time to get a kill

Just because it works for you doesn't mean crap, many people with high end rigs are experience problems due to the crap hero engine they are using.

Alright thanks, I mean I keep her geared fairly well so i don't think it will be a problem as long as her healing keeps scaling well.

So, I am level 29 and just got Gault and I was wondering what companion most tanks prefer to use? I really do enjoy having mako to heal me but I can also understand why having a strictly dps companion would be useful for downing mobs quicker. I truly cannot decide, opinions?

22% dmg reduction... that is your problem right there.. I am level 27 and i have 6500 hp and 45% damage reduction. If you upgrade your gear you won't have a problem, make sure you are always getting gear with highest possible armor rating/ defense rating when available

Hmm prob just gear then, I am 22 and have 5085 Hp without the endurance talent.

How much Hp do you currently have? I have a 22 shield-tech BH also

Granted my laptop is not in anyway great for gaming, I get around 45-60 fps in world and in war zones I go to like 15 fps and it is seriously annoying, it really ruins the entire experience..

I find madness just plain better and way more fun, having force lightning with no cool-down is just winning, not to mention the instant cast whirl-wind and Death field is a nice AoE to have.

How exactly do you do it? I have been told to go back to the advanced class trainer on imperial fleet but there is no option, others have said there is a reset option but i don't see that either.
