This is not true....Devs have announced there is a system in placed based on time played and seniority...but don't believe it because I have a similar story to John's.

This is a flat out lie!!!!! I bought my game 6/24/2011 and have been playing since release...have had an active subscription every single month since I received the game, even started 7 days early. But I not only had to move in June but I got forced to move now as well. Talk about a crappy way to treat founders....I cancelled my subscriptions....they won't get another dime from me. Bad business decision idiots...maybe you can change your naming conventions and allow multiple first names with separate last names list SWG did. Sorry you lost my business.

Anyone know why when I leave the game my desktop is all messed up? I run at a lower resolution ingame due to performance issues and when I get back my buttom bar is in the middle of the screen and my desktop gadgets are too? Is there any way of locking them to the previous resolution or making sure my desktop returns to its previous resolution? The game doesn't force the desktop back to where it was when I log off. Any help appreciated.

12 hours? I still have not received an email and have been playing for 12 hours...go figure.

As the title reads. I still have not gotten a notification email but going off a thread an old guildy stated they tried to log into the game and were able to get it. I also tried and am now in..I preordered on 24 July and was wondering why I was not receiving any notification emails. Give it a try...this whole email notification is screwed up and you don't need to receive it to get in if they have changed your account access. LIKE I'VE SAID BEFORE, THERE IS ZERO COMMUNICATION FROM BIOWARE ON THE FORUMS AND YOU ARE LEFT TO FEND FOR YOURSELVES. They could at least make a post stating to attempt to get into the game and acknowledge that their email system is screwed up. They could also give the date they are on, so that those people who KNOW they have bought the game before that date can attempt to get these problems fixed instead of QQing on the forums all night long!! It would really help to eliminate some confusion, headaches and spam if they just start playing this thing a little smarter and give out more info on who is invited and who isn't. I'm sure there are more than 50% of the population who KNOWING they have not been invited will wait patiently...but NOT KNOWING just pisses them off!!!

The community managers are abject failures to me. I don't care about how many people they have let in. I don't care about the semantics behind why they decided to do this the way they did. I just want to know what date they are up to. Players can draw no real inference to how many players have been let in based solely on what date they are inviting up to. They have given us ZERO information on knowing if we were supposed to have received an invite yet or if our email or theirs screwed up. We won't know until the 20th of December. I redeemed my code on 24 July..I was pretty sure I would have received an invite today. Pretty sure. There are a lot of trolls out there so it is hard to tell who is telling the truth about their redeemed/invite dates etc They are telling us how many waves they are sending out...they tell us they are inviting based on the dates we redeemed our preorder purchase.....so how about they back that up and tell us what date they are up to? That is not giving us too much info. And allows us to troubleshoot any problems with their notification system or our email if we missed/lost the email etc.

Yes it got some trolls, but why not just punish them rather than a customer complaining about the lack of communication by a company? Sounds an awful lot like censorship to prevent bad news getting out. Linking to fansites....i'm sure your dev's reach doesn't go to all the fansites.

I second that opinion. AT A MINIMUM THEY COULD POST WHAT DATE OF REDEMPTION THEY ARE UP TO!!!! I preorded on 24 July and I'm wondering if I missed the email or if it went straight to junk mail or if there is some other problem? I'm checking my router every 15 minutes to make sure it hasn't crashed etc.

This whole sad situation would easily have been remedied with better planning on their part and better communication on everyone's. ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS STATE WHAT THE LATEST DATE IS THEY ARE UP TO SO PEOPLE CAN CHECK TO SEE IF "MAYBE" THEY MISSED THEIR EMAILS. I'm just saying, that would not be asking too much to state what the date is they are working on right now so people have an idea and can stop QQing. Better yet they would have come up with a plan for their gradual roll out and stated they would be inviteing July players on the 1st, August players on the 2nd day of early release etc. and if you got in before that...you were happy

Would be nice for those of us who preordered in July and haven't been invited and see others who were invited later to know if maybe we lost the email in our spam/trash bin etc or if there was a mistake or error in the batch email process? MORE INFO IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN LESS. Also, it would give those players who preordered later an idea of how many people they have let in already and where they stand so we can get rid of the majority of "when will I get in posts" Thank you. I have a code from Gamestop. It worked the first time. I preordered and redeemed on the 24th of July. Yet I'm reading about people who have gotten invites here and on other fansites who are claiming to have preorderd as late as October and December getting invites already? So either they are all trollls starting crap...or as I keep reading...the whole you will get invites based on when you redeemed is full of crap. I was pretty sure that the 24th of July was early enough to get an invite...and yes it says on my account page that the 24th of July is when the code was redeemed. Just waiting on the email. I'm glad I didn't take any vacation days to play this game. I'd have been really pissed then.

Umm I registered and redeemed mine on 24 July...and no invite for me? Are you just a troll or what? It would be nice if they were giving out some dates that they were inviting up to at the current time so people would know if they got screwed over or not!!!

I'm seeing a familiar thread here and on other fansites. I've seen people claim to have preordered and redeemed as late as the 28th of July getting invites and people claiming preorders and redemption on the 22nd and 23rd of July NOT getting invites. I preordered on the 24th and have not gotten an invite. Whats up with this?
