  1. As I usually solo, I'm ok with the combat styles, gearing, UI, and other features. Yes, there are bugs but they aren't broken for my playstyle if you know the workarounds and they'll get fixed eventually. What troubles me the most is the reduction in "production quality" in the content that is there. I ran through Legacy of the Sith in a couple of hours on my main imperial. Killed Malgus no problems, no showstoppers after I figured out the workarounds. What struck me is the lack of Star Wars story, cohesion, thematics, seemless story-telling, that I'm used to in this game. I went online and heard that the republic story is much better than the imperial story in Legacy of the Sith. So, I logged in my main pub. Just for old vs new content comparison, I ran some of the final Alliance FPs: Crisis on Umbara, Nathema Conspiracy, etc and they were every bit as great as I remember them. That was peak (or near peak) production quality. The new content has seams, it has bumps, it lacks the same quality cut scenes, transitions, musical scoring, etc. Maybe the bugs that force people to call back to the fleet to progress at times are to blame for the rough ride but this week I've enjoyed playing the older content more than the new content. If I could suggest anything from a long time player who still has a Darth Malgus statue in a box from launch, please scrub the production quality of this new content when you get some time. Thank you.
  2. February 15 is the day that my Light V Marauder can finally step into the Light and become a Jedi, like my father before me.
  3. Just resubbed yesterday and ran SoV for the first time today. I was a little concerned about story mode after reading this but only died twice with a Carnage Marauder IR 276. Both times that I died, it was because there were sharpshooters off at a distance that I didn't see until it was too late. Once I knew they were there, I rolled through it. I did have two guards that kept resetting/unkillable just before final boss. Just back up to the door and wait and you'll drop out of combat when they reset and can open the door to the final boss.
  4. The only real reason to choose Combat/Carnage right now is if the cadence of the playstyle appeals to you (Lots of swings/hits, with a little burst here and there) AND you don't mind being bottom of the barrel DPS over time with no self heals. I have always been Carnage and won't ever change, but I'm also very casual these days. Things die and I don't so it's ok enough but things sometimes take a while to kill.
  5. Are these all of the class changes planned for 6.1? Just keeping an eye out for fixes to Carnage Marauder DPS...
  6. Similar to the SW: Jedi Fallen Order pet promo, could we get some sort of SW:TROS promo in game to commemorate the end of the Skywalker saga that started in 1977?
  7. Yesterday, this top was white with red accents as you can see the dye module on it. Today, it looks black on the character window and textureless pink in game. My companion has the same outfit and exhibits the same behavior as you can see. I exited the game completely and restarted it with no change. This was not happening yesterday. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ajtth6f-mcpbhZsHV1a8fQl9w8J0Bw
  8. Interestingly, when SWTOR came out, I characterized it as KOTOR3 with multiplayer instances. Playing through it solo, it felt like a solid KOTOR3. After having run some P&P Star Wars RPGs over the years, force users can be a challenge to engage properly. If everyone is a force user or no one is a force user, the challenges can be shared amongst everyone and things are fairly easy. If you want a compelling story or challenge with some force users and some not, then you have to get very creative because a bounty hunter just doesn't compare to a jedi in capability (ex. Obi Wan vs Jango Fett in Ep2) So, one story doesn't fit all for both force users and non-force users. The original 8 class stories were brilliant and although I've enjoyed the stories in KOTFE and KOTET, they do only make sense for a force user because a smuggler, for example, should never be tackling supreme force users who would kick the tails of even really good force users. My primary issue with KOTET is the gear progression. The RNG approach for gear is not the best for me, but maybe it is the best for the game as a whole. I don't know, but I hope they know what they are doing. I'm personally on the fence about staying or going.
  9. Is it possible that there are chapters that haven't been released yet as they did with the initial release of KOTFE? "We have hope. Rebellions are built on hope."
