  1. Right, well lowbie's are lowbie's because they just bought the game. Then once they play through the game over how many months of subscription, they can buy the expansion at full price or preorder it now at half price in anticipation.

Pre-ordering has no bearing on the price of the DLC. It isn't a "deal", you just get an early start as a benefit. The price won't go up after launch.

  2. I don't think so - at least not for storymode & non-rated WZs. But wouldn't you agree that for HM OPs & rated WZs, voice chat is more or less mandatory already?

If you are doing those, you usually join someones Mumble / Vent / TS server in the group.

  3. I'll never forget the guy who kept screaming "North" in Novare Coast. Perhaps he was playing from somewhere below the Equator?

It does not matter where you are located. North is still north.

  4. - People who call hacks because they have absolutely no clue what other classes abilities do. (Predation / Speed increase skill points after ability used e.g. Debilitate / Base speed increase skill points e.g. Obfuscation / Force Shroud / yadda yadda)

    - The self appointed Warzone hero. The guy who has no clue what he is talking about, has **** strategies, and *****es when they don't work and then starts to harass everyone for doing what he told them to do in the first place. But he has to be the "Pro" and is usually the ops leader in the WZ, so he is totally legit.

    - People who wait in the end zone in Huttball thinking that the ball carrier who is getting wailed on from the other side of the fire, or the team mate in the pit can magically throw that far.

+ The stealth classes who think they can stealth with the ball and wonder why they didn't score.

    - People who enjoy standing on the ledge of the end zone.

    - People who full resolve the ball carrier and his allies before they even get to the first fire pit on the cat walks.

    - Single file spawn heroes throwing their bodies into the meat grinder trying to take a node guarded by 3+ players solo.

    - People who would rather shoot and hit people than CC to secure a cap.

+ People who think it takes more than one person to cap a node when enemies are coming that they should snare, root, or stun instead of being redundant and behind the first player on the cap time anyway.

    - Kill count heroes.

    - Damage matters heroes with no objectives and then talk **** at the end of the match.

    - People in full WH who don't augment it at all and complain about a gear gap.

    - Leaving nodes in Ancient Hypergates and feeding the other team kills in mid.

    - No one calling out nodes until they are respawned at base.

    - People who abandon post to flock where the action is.

    - People who don't know their cardinal directions.

    - People who don't focus healers, even when they are clearly marked.

    - Tank classes that don't taunt.

    - Healers that tunnel vision one player even when they are in no way in danger of dying as the rest of the team falls to the ground.

    - People who fight and manage to not attack the person(s) capping a node.

    - People who would rather fight than stagger cap in Novare Coast.

    - People who complain about getting knocked in fire and acid pits and let everyone know how cheap and cheating it is.

That is all I can think of for now. ;

  5. The problem is that the source of the imbalance is not bad players or even lack of communication. It isn't even the absence of healers as you earlier suggested . . . it is gear imbalance, plain and simple.

...players who enjoy the success of premades would LIKE to believe its because of their superior skill -- social, tactical, strategic, or mastery of their class and understand of other classes...

But the reality is premades tend to be collections of players whose gear makes them elite...

You see another elite player, you invite him to the group...

    I lol'd. 11/10

  6. Cause I'm thinking that if it is working as intended then I would proposition that the cost associated with ripping mods(etc.) be removed.

Why? You circumvent a great deal of time having to grind all over again at 50 on a new character. You can do it all on a geared max level character far too easy, and the price should stay. It gives you an edge as a fresh 50, and you don't have to deal with the crap other people who don't have the option, no prior geared 50, nor money, see lazy, as a new max level character. I think it is a small price to pay for something that is a convenience and not a necessity.

  7. Should just have a rating system based on wz rank and expertise. That way, people who decide to PvP for the first time at 50 will play equally terrible players. Unless their expertise is adequate, it would put them in the mediocre tier of match making. Up and up. Don't really know how to describe it in words, but somehow incorporate something that separates people who obviously don't care and won't gear or play prior to joining 50 pvp. "But I do care about PvP, lowbie is ********." Well, if you did PvP before 50, you would have most of your War Hero gear. So forgive me if I don't believe you.
