WoW is 7 years old and still has the same bugs it had in beta. It is not uncommon.
Care to elaborate on what these bugs are exactly?

Addressing the title:
No, it won't be because thats not the games main focus.
Are you actually serious? A Star Wars game where the main focus is not Empire vs Republic? Sith vs Jedi? Dark Side vs Light Side?
What exactly is the point then? Are we to hold hands and sing around the fire?

Combat in this game is a total disaster. Unless you are keyboard turning clicker who maybe wouldn't notice the difference.

The ability lag has nothing to do with latency. It's because any ability will not fire until the animation of the previous action is complete. So, an ability with a 1 second cast time and a 2 second animation will prevent you from casting anything else for 2 seconds, not 1.
You can test this yourself by hitting your mount button, waiting for the cast timer to complete and then run forward. You will be dismounted because the animation hasn't finished and you don't actually mount until it does.

No one paid money for this. They paid money for the game. The game doesn't support add-ons.
Saying "I paid money for your product, so make it do exactly what I want," is simply not how this works. Don't like the product? Don't buy it or subscribe. It's pretty simple stuff.
We all pay for the right to post on this *opinion* based forum.
Telling people to stop airing their opinion because you don't agree is just lame. Sorry.

If BW implements this; are you guys going to write these mods yourselves or are you going to whine on the forums as well until somebody wrote the mod you want?
What possible difference could it make to your life either way?
If you don't like something, don't read it. People are complaining about something they PAID MONEY for, so let them complain... why would you even care?
Unless you think that just because you think something then everyone should think the same way. In which case, grow up.

Maybe your connection is a bit slow?
My connection is never more than about 90ms, usually closer to 40ms. I've never disconnected or visibly lagged from poor connection. Updates come down at about 1.5mb/s.
If it was something I could just fix on my side I would. I play 3 other MMO's and none of them are anywhere near as bad.

Maybe its the configuration or exact combination of hardware, but with my i5, 8 gb ram, and gtx 260 it has *never* taken over a minute to load any planet. Other people in my guild complain about loading times too, so I'm not sure. I just know I don't experience this.
It's just painful. Most times I'll hit the leave ship door and just go make coffee or something... compared to some of the other bugs and things it's a pretty minor annoyance though.

Seeing as Nar Shadda takes longer to load on my SSD than it takes to boot windows (22 seconds) I certainly agree with the OP.
Exactly this. It takes me longer to load Alderaan than it does to boot my 5 year old laptop I use for writing word docs.

If it's taking up to 3 minutes to load some screens then may be your PC isn't quite the "monster" you believe it to be.
You're right, a £800 custom build with Intel Core i5 2500 3.3Ghz, 16GB Corsair DDR3 and 2GB ATI Radeon HD 6950 is pretty softcore...

It's either the processor or you should really think about contacting customer service because I can assure it never even comes close to 1-3 minutes for me.

slow loading times has to do with comp speed and amount of ram... do you have 8 gigs ? if not yea its gonna load slow . dont blame the game for you're lack of pc
I have a monster gaming rig and still up to 3 minute load times... it has very little to do with the PC.
P.S. 8 Gigs is not a lot of ram.

Loading Screens...
I couldn't agree more, it's physically painful.
User Interface...I absolutely hate the interface, it's a just about unusable in some cases. The zone map actually overlaps 3 buttons on my action bars when I'm in a Warzone...
Companion Interaction...I was the same, by about level 30 I just didn't care any more.
Looking For Group...This wouldn't be so bad if the /who screen was actually usable (see User Interface above).
Voice Over...There are class and race combos I will never play just because the voice sucks. And that sucks.
Bugs...There are game-breaking bugs (ability response times and in-game mail, I'm looking at you) that never should have made it through beta that are not even on the known issues post... 'nuff said.
PVP...Everything above combines to make the PvP in this game a massive waste of time. I have never felt such frustration in a PvP environment (and I played Anarchy Online).

I have cancelled my sub because of this rubbish. I may come back in a few months, but I doubt it.
I hope for the sake of those who choose to play this buggy game that they fix some of this stuff for you.

No, you don't. The problem is that if you hit an ability and then another one the second one won't fire until the *animation* for the previous one ends. Not the cast timer, or the GCD - the animation.
Which means that cast timers and the GCD are meaningless. Good luck using something like Aclarity to speed up your cast times when the animations stay the same length.
Your damage is also in many cases not applied until the end of the animation, so you hit the button and then wait for 2 seconds for the damage to land. Which isn't so bad when it's just a high damage attack, but when it's a stun that triggers 2 seconds into the animation you might as well not use it.
The combat in this game is screwed, which is why I have un-subbed. I'll try again in a few months if the game is still alive.
Anyone grinding to rank 60 valor, i've got a warning for you.
