I agree that the endgame crafting seems to be almost entirely worthless, I've maxed out Armstech, Scavenging, and Investigation and gotten the last schematics for almost everything and all of it is sub-par with even the lowest Tionese weapons, (I probably misspelled that). All the effort it takes to make a purple level 50 blaster pistol is worthless in the end. The only, barely even conceivable reason you would go up the crafting professions, because it is such a MASSIVE credit sink, is to eventually craft for guild mates as they level up. Crafting is not broken, it is a significant breakthrough in MMO game-play to have your companions piece together your gear for you while you quest, and I love the innovation it took to come up with that cool strategy. However, we simply need to see that there is a significant and desirable outcome in reaching level 400 Armstech, Synthweaving, ect. Once there is a bonus to reaching the cap perhaps the players should gain a buff for using crafted gear? I am not one of the developers however I'm certain there is more they can do to remedy the situation.
