Oh I see the problem...you need to add "Games" first on the joystick page...then select a game from a drop down...I'll make sure I prompt future users about this in a patch... but for now if you go back and add Games first, then goto Gamer Groups you should be okay.

Main difference is ease of use and easy tracking... so you can see who is in/out easily using the lobby. once you setup your group you just tap one button.

cool - yeah we've been using it privately for the past few months and it makes getting our group together for SWTOR easier as well as other games we play. Just found it so hard with eveyone traveling so much these days...and got tired of SMSing each one..now it' just hit one button. Thanks!

Thanks to this game/community my friend and I have built a mobile app to help make it easier to play SWTOR (and other games). It's called Gamer Beacon, and it makes getting a gaming session started with your friends a lot easier. When you want to play World of Warcraft or Gears of War you simply fire up Gamer Beacon and tap the "Game On" button and your friends will be notified by SMS that you want to play.
