I have specced into death field and have been using it, i have to admit, sniping killing blows, nice crits, de-stealthing people and a little bit of health back have been working favourably for me. Yea, energize is not something i rely on, just something nice to have, also my previous spec had nice force regen from stealth and the darkswell force regen meant i was able to use shock a little bit more often and with energize proc, induction force cost reduction, some adrenal/relic buffs up and then pop recklessness, i was finding myself murdering some random and then having a heavy damage opener on my next target.

  3. I suppose the real questions i'm asking are: Harnessed darkness force lightning VS freeinstacast crushing darkness proc's. Or some other build.
  4. Death field is internal damage. Wither is kinetic damage. Wither is AOE around the targeted enemy. Death-field is AOE wherever you choose (in-range). The damage reduction benefit from wither is debatable in pvp. The health back from deathfield can be beneficial. Death field can be used as a stealth check. If i can't keep an enemy in range with force slow, pull, 2 stuns and force speed then i'm not gonna benefit from withers 30% reduction.
  5. tl;dr -> skip past the line Ok, my assassin is my favorite character. I have my BH, my marauder, my sorc etc etc etc. But i love my assassin. Not because its OP like some fail strat players think but because of its utility in WZ's and ilum. Taunting, guarding, pulling, stunning, knockbacks, speed etc etc etc I feel my assassin build really really helps my team in Huttball (defence, distraction and scoring) and voidstar (defence and steath plants), even alderaan too. In ilum i can force my own fights with pull without relying too much on others. But the changes to induction needing surging charge mean i need a change (i don't bother with stance changing), the points there are 'almost' useless now. So from fellow tank main spec, dps gear assassins', where to next? ------------------------------ Current: 28-13-0 Considering: 25-0-16 (deathfield and freeinsta-crushing darkness) or 28-0-13 (deathfield and keeps harnessed darkness) Main points. Both keep dark charge stance, crit-shock procs, spike and electrocute bonus damage, pull and death field, but one drops harnessed darkness for crushing darkness proc's. Or is there another build people are considering.

This is on Hex Droid for those asking. 1st: I'm fighting from my imperial assassin. 2nd: We're talking 2-3 ops groups 60 v 60 (give or take 10-15) 3rd: I entered the fighting at 0 weekly/daily so i can give an accurate count on my kills. 4th: I reenter the fight grid as soon as possible (but stand at back a bit to allow loading). At first it seemed fine, hit 70 after some good fighting (around the usable guns not the ramps). Then i noticed (after a 3 gun routing run (where we brute force fight them off a gun and they regroup/run to the next gun)) that i had received 0 valor/kill updates, and this was a 15minute span where i didn't die and was in the middle of the fighting. It was at this point that others started noticing it too (recent joiners and people before me). So i died, came back and voíla it started counting again, i got another 25 before it stopped again. So i died again, came back and got 4. So i died again, came back and got none. Then i crashed, came back online, went fighting and got 14 before it stopped. So i died, came back, while waiting for grid to load i see 7 more kill/valor numbers show up bit by bit on screen. I decide to just go nuts, pulling and AOEing and of course dying horribly often all the way to 150 (and beyond). During my last 30 kills needed for weekly, i counted at least 40 more 'tagged' players that i did not receive credit for before i stopped counting the fails (i still had 13 more kills for weekly to go). At a rough estimate i reckon i 'tagged' 240-280 players that died in order to get my 150 weekly completed.

It ''seems'' to be either: A: A max amount of 'tagged' (will give valor when killed) players at one time. ie: do a run through, aoe taunt, aoe attacks/stuns etc etc then activate defences and try to escape alive will only allow a max number of 'tagged' players. B: A huge increase in 'cannot kill the same player again' cooldown. C: A large increase in the immunity to giving valor after death cooldown. D: Some weird bug inducing combination of the above. Dying does help 'reset' these valor cool-downs BUT i have noticed i get valor from people i definitely did not 'aggress' after my death (i was at back of pack waiting for grid to load first and i see multiple valor awards appearing).
  8. 1: Go roll a tracer missile merc or grav trooper to 50. 2: Go do Wz's against players with a brain. 3: Realise that those trooper/merc's who seem invincible either A: Have a good pocket healer B: come up against bad players all the time or C: Know how to play there class better than you know how to fight them.
  9. If this 'pvp' patch goes as planned, the republic dogs are gonna need some backup. Move the bounty board to the ilum base along with the pvp vendors, more level 50's in Ilum should help the grind it is to become.
  10. nah keep WZ's - add a solo only wz bracket. open world pvp needs a serious overhaul, xp, valor, commendations, kill count, titles, looting, force respawning etc.

That i know of: (these are one time medals) 2500+ damage from a single hit 5000+ damage from a single hit doing 75k damage total doing 300k damage total getting a killing blow (seems to not apply from a 1v1 lol) getting a 1v1 kill 2500+ healing from a single heal (btw it seems healing is literally only whats healed, overhealing does not count at all) 5000+ healing from a single heal doing 75k healing doing 300k healing getting 1k defender points (fighting on your goal line) getting 3k defender points getting 5k defence points (gaurd, taunts etc) getting 50k defence points getting 2k defence points in a single life getting 10k defence points in a single life killing 10 enemies killing 25 enemies killing 50 enemies ---------------------------- One time medals needed(imo): Scoring passing ball to teammate that scores within 5s firstblood first person to grab a ball at start of match final blow on ball carrier at your goal line killing an enemy ball carrier whilst under the effects of a WZ powerup (not the consumables) get 3 killing blows within 15s killing 25 enemies and having zero deaths scoring within 15s of a neutral ball deployment

    Hi, i went from level 10 to 50 in 5d 12h, you mad and gonna report me too? Read fast, shoot fast, run as a group for bonuses, don't die like a scrub and do dailys in xp generating level range.
