  1. He is having fun fooling around on the forums. You are actively trying to put people down. Stop.
  2. YOU CAN USE IT UNLESS YOU AGREE BEFORE-HAND THAT YOU CAN'T That's it, please stop pestering the community.
  3. Unless you agree explicitly with the other team, there is no problem using it. We cannot make a "server-wide" rule, because teams/players new to the mix may or may not be familiar/agree. This is obvious and the issue is settled, please stop making a fuss out of nothing.
  4. The problem is that we queue not too often now-a-days. Adroit queues even more rarely, and Goof Troop has not fielded a ranked team in god knows how long. There is very little action to prove ourselves on, like that one game that nello keeps referencing where the \stuck (which regardless of being fair or not was inconsequential to the outcome of the game) happened. Not to mention our players were merely trash talking in a fairly friendly manner until Nello and the other guy directed unwarranted insults at our players.
  5. Be a little more careful with your acronyms op.
  6. The ilum bolster is not killing the economy or crippling the game in any way, so why does everyone have to wait while they fix the "problem". Put the servers back up, and do not bring them down again until you know exactly how to fix the issue (or in the next patch).
  7. If they are low on energy this could be a valid move. You would be preventing them from healing at full capacity until dead.
  8. http://www.swtor.com/gameupdates/1.7-return-of-the-gree It's the only time I wish a patch came out a little bit later.
  9. ranged classes coordinating roots and pushbacks destroys smashers and bubblestun incapacitates us half the game.
  10. probably because you tab, force breach, repeat
  11. I was at one point of time attempting to start a tournament on the Harbinger, and kudos for putting all this time in. I warn you though that you will not get all these matches in in one day considering the finalists (assuming 8 teams) would have played around 10 matches, which during rateds and then delays from other matches will make this tournament last at least 12 hours if well managed.
  12. Nerf lightning. Buff smash. Or Im unsubbing.
  13. This. So when one team is running their top team, other teams tend to not queue without their A team. This has changed a bit in the past week and we have been running mixed guild teams and a few kickball style matches. If the recent trend continues then there will probably be ranked almost nightly at prime-time (10-12 pacific)
  14. I have similar problems. My obliterate often lags and then I have to choose moves almost randomly with the assumption that my obliterate actually functioned properly (grant it its not that difficult to aim my smash).
  15. to clarify: I am not insinuating that bad players should not report hackers. I am bringing up the point that many players unfamiliar with speed boosting skills jump to unwarranted conclusions when they see somebody jump or move quickly. This is analogous to the case where a juggernaut "hacked" and jumped to an empty space and received significant complaints about the situation, despite the fact that he interceded to a stealthed player.
  16. I understand that speed hacking is hacking is a serious issue considering BW decided to put a notice on the log in screen, but just because somebody is playing well or going fast, does not mean the person is speed hacking. Recently, one of the top players on our server has been banned for it, even though there is a general consensus among the players that the accused player has never done such a thing ( I won't name names because bw has taken down posts about him in the past). Yesterday, another player on the opposite team in lowbie was playing very well on his assassin and using absolutely no speed hacks (I know this because he targeted me every chance he could), but yet at the end, several players on my team were complaining about reporting him for hacking. There are several game mechanics and skills that increase players' speed absolutely fairly and can be confused for speed hacking from an inexperienced players perspective. So please, unless you thoroughly understand every class and every spec (such as powertech jump, intercede, predation, force speed, and sneak), do not report people for speed hacking because more likely than not, they are merely using an ability you have never seen before. TL;DR Do not report people for speed hacks unless you know this game inside and out. EDIT: to clarify: I am not insinuating that bad players should not report hackers. EDIT2: Just to point out, I am not defending a guildmate. This player was in fact a member of a rival guild. I do not know this player that well personally either. I do not have definitive proof that he was not speed hacking. Still, both our guilds do not tolerate cheating and enjoy competing intensely, but fairly. He may in fact have speed hacked without telling anybody, but not a single other player that knew him well and was accustomed to his play was convinced that he had done anything wrong.
  17. I was about to post about the resolve system, then I noticed this. Probably the best post on the forums in a long time!
  18. I hope its irl, creus and i live in the same room. bowchicawowow
  19. put me down for jugg dps and hybrid- sirlen and op heals- lencool
  20. around what time? mid-day is very general. If you need an opponent, I can lead the other team. we can also get 16 guys in 1 voip and have a kickball-style draft and then play with those 2 teams.
  21. I am a competitive pvper on the harbinger, but unfortunately the ranked times over there do not bode well with my sleep schedule. So my friend and I are looking for an east coast server to reroll to. So please break down on what competitive pvp, specifically ranked, is like on your server. How many teams queue consistently? What are the queue times? What is the skill level of play in ranked (as in do teams only queue when they have perfect team composition and bis wh)? Do teams generally queue with the same 8 players or are they generous in digging down into the reserves? What is the balance between the factions like? And finally, is it a fun, intensely competitive process or does it make you want to bash your face into the keyboard? thanks in advance.

  24. Thats what ilum was supposed to be like.
  25. That was your ranked team... Otherwise most of the teams just added 1 or maybe 2 smash juggs. marauders, and they got them from respecs.
