I understand that. Why would a player buy from the GTN when they can just go get what they need from quest rewards and the commendation vendor? It's annoying that I can't even make mods for all of my orange gear because the stats SUCK for tanking...

Here is the thing that frustrates me about Cybertech (I have 380 skill currently) is that I can't find any defensive mod schematics. The trainer sells offensive mods ONLY. NPCs drop defensive mods in armor and they are given as quest rewards. Also, why do all the mod names change around level 33? There was a Guardian mod prior to that but it disapeared at that time. Either let us make all the mods that NPCs are giving out and dropping (In Orange armor) or scrap the skill. Because at this point I am POd that I raised this skill to be able to make an Armor slot I coulda bought with commendations and inferior mods...

I can't find any mods that are even remotely suitable for tanking on the Cybertech vendor. Searching on various database sites there are Schematics for tanking mods (More END than STR and +DEF/SHIELD Etc...) but I can't find them in game. The only mods on the Cybertech trainer are for DPS spec'd mods. In fact the only mods I have seen setup for tanking are the ones that come from quest rewards and are in armor already. (These are the B versions of mods) NOTE: This is level 33+ before that there is a mod called Guardian that is setup for tanking.

Exactly my point. I picked up Cybertech to outfit my Orange armor with mods and armor pieces. I am a tank but don't see any tank mods on the trainers. I haven't had one RE yet turn into a defensive mod. If anyone else has please share!

That's what I have found to be the case so far. So, the question begs is did they just leave the Tank Mods off? There were tank mods at lower levels and they all changed around at 33ish. Also, how do you change the time on these forums? I can't find it anywhere in preferences.

So, the only mod on the trainer that has STR/END is the Potent 16A. I finally got a new schematic off it from REing and it went from: Potent 16A 21 STR 12 END +3 Crit to Potent 16A 26 STR 15 END +4 Crit Should this RE into a Tank version also w/ More END than STR and +DEF? This whole thing is confusing because I was using the Guardian Mods till around 33 when they disapeared from the Commendation vendors...

Still REing several hours later with no new schematics. Looking for specifically STR and END and Defense. END should be higher than STR.

That's the problem. There is only 1 STR + END mod on the recipe trainer and that mod favors STR and has CRIT on it. (Potent XXA) The mod names all changed around 33 to XXA and the Guardian Mods disapeared off the commendation vendors. Just trying to find out if they really exist before I spend all day REing Potent mods...(Which I am doing now)

Anyone know if these things truely exist? Working on REing the level 35 mods now and have had no success so far gettting defensive mods back. Again I am looking for tanking mods which are not listed on the trainer recipes.

Ya, that's where I am now I have 310 Cybertech and am looking for the tanking Mod to make and place in my Orange armor. The only Guardian items in my list are the Armor pieces. The Mods are all DPS mods. Do the DPS mods RE into Tanking mods?

Which lower end mod specifically? And Torhead doesn't show the Guardian Mod, it just shows the Guardian Armor piece...

Where are the tanking mods for armor? You can buy Guardian Mod 12, 13 etc from commendation vendors but you can't make these mods as a Cybertech? The mods that are available on the Cybertech Trainer are not built for tanking. So, am I forced to spend commendation tokens on these mods that I should be able to make?

Tired of being broke from sending my companions out on missions to farm materials all the time. Overworld farming materials are far and few between. In fact the only place I have seen resources in abundance was in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Specificaly looking for a place to farm Bondar crystals if anyone knows of a place.
