  1. I just wanted to say I'm having a great time playing the game again. I pre-ordered the collector's edition before the game launched and played it a month or two and didn't really enjoy it that much then. I was consumed with another mmorpg at the time. I stopped playing video games for a few years and now just play casually. I decided to give swtor another try and I am have a awesome time playing. I'm currently playing a sith assassin. I plan on joining a guild soon which I think will open up more social aspects of the game. Anyways, just thought I'd share my thoughts from a returning new player
  2. Found out today after one of my auctions expired that you receive your deposit back in the same return mail with your item that didn't sell. That takes some of the stink away considering that your deposit is based on how much you list the item for. Be aware though, the auction has to expire. Guildmate of mine said that if you pull it out early, you won't get your deposit back. Just wanted to share that with everyone incase others are not aware of this. Have a great day everyone!
  3. Hello, I am looking for some advice on where to start with books for this game. I have a few credits just sitting on Audible and I thought I could use them to download some audio books. I looked up Star Wars: The Old Republic on there and they brought up 4 books. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan Star Wars: The Old Republic: Deceived Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance Star Wars: Red Harvest Are there any other books I should start with first? Or are these the books available for TOR story and in which order should I read...err, I mean listen to Thanks in advance!
  4. I don't understand how spamming general chat that you are LFG is social at all. I think getting in a group quicker so you can start killing stuff together and advancing through quest would be more social then spamming general. Perhaps they are encouraging people joining guilds to group with guildmates and socialize more that way. However, BW has made it harder to find a recruiting guild for your exact forum unless you want to scroll through pages of threads hoping to find someone recruiting on your server and your faction. Or they want other people to do their job (fansites) and have server specific forums that we must go and and find and hope guilds are recruiting on that fansite. I expected to see more recruiting in game, however I hardly ever see anyone spamming they are recruiting for thier guild on my server.
  5. They currently do not offer a lifetime sub and personally I don't see them offering one in the near future. Most likely with a lifetime sub BW/EA would get alot of upfront money, but would loose out over the life of the game. Of course this depends on the success of the game a year from now. Another thing I found odd, they only offered up to a 6 months subscription package. I was suprised I didn't see a 1 year sub package.
  6. Glad I purchased the SWTOR Exploerer's Guide when I picked up my CE. Alot of really useful information in it. And the queue are giving me just the time I need to look it over
