    You forgot to include damage types. If the dps ignores the armor of a tank, the dps will win since they do more damage in general anyways that the tank can't match or mitigate.
  2. You forget the major flaw of your argument, and that is tanks need help to take out anyone. Reason why the holy trinity usually goes tank > dps > healer > tank which is part of why the game is so screwed up right now.
  3. Well at least you can reduce the defense of tanks more then... Oh wait they never bothered to fix that either.
  4. Completely ignored everything else you had to say after that. I rolled PT to play a TANK, not some glorified dps class. Which is another issue entirely which is ruining the game.

Shieldtech Powertech, the tank that has practically 0 useful defensive cooldowns, armor that might as well be paper since most classes can bypass it, and low damage due to tank gear giving crap for damage. And it's more that the sorc pull counters grapple since it doesn't reduce the resolve bar like grapple builds it.
  6. It's also not easy playing the class who's survivability is negated by about every class, and has little utility.
  7. Except that since the sorc is almost always a healer, the can stand even against a 4v2 with high end gear.
  8. Yeah, and the the ball carrier just walks it in. Which is the problem, can't focus anything down because the other will screw you over.
  9. Why is the sorc pull ability in the game? It is probably the most overpowered ability in the game when it come to huttball, right up there with the number of Juggernaught charges. It's cooldown is so short and has no real counter since pulls add heavily to resolve, while this does nothing to it. When rated wz comes out, why would you want anything other than sorcs on your team since it makes it impossible to focus down a ball carrier since it makes every sorc a ball carrier.

Yet people still think they are the worst tank, yet they have the best survivability out of all the tank geared AND specced tanks(people never bother checking for both though and just assume), followed by assassins with powertech a distant third. DPS side may be a bit different what with them being a melee and the prevalence of pb aoe cc abilities, where pyrotechs don't have as much a worry.
  11. Usually it happens to me right after I finish a charge, usually onto a flame vent or if someone uses a knockback just before I land.

  13. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the fact that the resolve bar drains WHILE affected by CC... So annoying being hit by whirlwind or stealther saps, and the resolve bar is empty again by the time it wears off.
  14. The problem is that there aren't enough counter-ccs in the game, as well as the imbalance of what classes get them. Add in the fact of how op heals are and you pretty much don't even need certain classes at all because of how subpar they are. Shieldtech powertech for one, the worst tank in the game.
  15. I'd just like to see tech/force damage attacks balanced better when compared to defense stats or white damage attacks. Why are they 100% accurate instead of 90% like white damage? Why do they bypass all defense stats? And why is there no gear/mods with Resistance on it if that was intended?
