  1. my Vette on the other side has a visor, and i've seen them with a head band thing that i'm trying to locate. not sure about helms and such.
  2. Took me a while to determine all of my 'interrupts'. Kick, Flash and our basic interrupt are keys to some of these fights. and this sequence had me on the floor laughing so hard... "oh pretty lady, want to meet..." but yeah, choose light side, take out the Sith first, then the big guy while interrupting all the heals. Just put Corso on him to take his attention off you. Interrupt the Sith's attacks, and just whittle her down as you go. Light side choices seem to come easy on the Smuggler, not something you feel you have to do. But then, that's maybe just me.
  3. OMG, the ex girlfriend part was HILARIOUS. I thought the Skavak fight was kinda 'meh'. Could have been a LOT better. Played all 4 of the Imps, and all of the Chapter 1 final class quests were phenomenal. After all the fun and hilarity of the Smuggler up to the Skavak battle, I thought it would be... more. Am at level 33, so not sure what is to come, but vengeful idiot girlfriends would be outstanding. and totally forgot about 'the Butcher' for the past many levels.
  4. TYVM. Glossed right over that one, and missed it. Yeah, if its been around, then probably was on off, but somehow it got turned on. Sorry for the rant, just hate dying due to something like this. Thanks again for the assistance.
  5. Most annoying thing that they added in the patch. I'm battling an elite... another walks by... when the current one dies, and I hit an attack button, I automatically attack the other one. Didn't used to be that way. Would have to target one target after another during a mob fight, but I can live with that instead of dying to secondary elites killing me over and over.
  6. This game was pretty fun... until you hit 50. Haven't really raided, looked at the Ops and nothing really seems interesting. Tried to do the Black Hole stuff, and I guess I'm not geared for the place. Keep dying to rad poisoning on the Glow quest, even with the injection, then run out of npcs to kill for new injections. Will probably just do the 4 other class quests on the other side, and then hang this game up. And no, I really don't have a problem with the crash this week, I've been around WoW enough to know that it could have been a lot worse. Its just that the class quests were so darn good, and after they're done, the game just goes so flat.
  7. If they remain alive, they have a voice that could be heard. Silencing the Jedi allowed Palpatine to put any kind of spin he wanted on what he professed they were really like, since there was no one to dispute him.... and if they did, well, they would find themselves missing as well. Also, where would you prison all those Jedi?? And who would be the guards?
  8. The Agent story is the most complex, intriguing, and interesting story I've come across so far. I had to ESC and relisten to so many, go through ALL the options, just to see how fantastic the writers made this class. Have done all 4 of the Sith side, and starting now on the Rep side. Just starting the Smuggler, which in the beta thought was the most fun overall (and yeah, the Bounty Hunter is a blast too, but the end of Chapter 3 was kinda meh). I tend to roll female toons, so the romance option is off with a lot of the companion interactions (guess I missed a lot from Jaesa, Kal and Vette). Am hoping that the Smuggler keeps interesting and fun. Really not intersted in running a Jedi anything, but for the Trooper, I may actually look at tanking (all my toons are dps so far.)
  9. fix the game glitches and problems NAO!!! taking a shuttle and dropping you on an elite that is wrecking you while you're still zoning in... truly idiotic. then, after you die, the elite is in the shuttle body, cannot be targetted... you die again. having an operative roll into cover that gets you stuck between a bench and a post, and you cannot get unstuck except to log out, then log in, then QT out. i mean really, can you just fix the dumb stuff nao. and can you add an option to have the operative NOT roll into a cover, but to just drop down where its at in cover?? just trying to get my last two toons to 50 so i can retire from mmo's.... can't get past the last class quest without a group going in with me, and that's stoopid ridiculous as well.
  10. I wanted to see what happened at affection 10k. Nothing. No special quest. Just... nothing. I wanted to see what happened at Dark V. I got a new title... 'the Loathesome'. Truly? Really? Give me something that would be interesting... like 'the Evil'... 'the Unforgiving'... 'the Bastich'.
  11. I bought six months. After that, not really sure. Hate that I can't get past the final class quest boss.
  12. The only issue I have with the game is the last class boss. So far, my Inq and Warrior have fought solo through all the class quests, and the regular quests as well. The companion idea was fantastic. Having a couple to choose from is nice, but keeping those geared up all the time is way too expensive and time consuming. So, you choose one and run with that one. When you get to the end, you have this unbearably difficult fight that is a number of degrees of difficulty higher than any other you have faced to date. That kind of puts a kibosh on the overall game experience. I have now given up on my Inq and Warrior, not even interested in the Ilum quests or raiding, and may or may not focus on my 40 level hunter and agent. If the final boss fight is the same way, then it is rather depressing. In a video console game, having the final boss being unbearably difficult is acceptable. You fight it, then the game is effectively over, so make it a true pita. In an MMO, you want the players to continue to play after the final boss, to keep the game going. Well, being twarted on the last class boss is not a great idea of keeping anyone's interest. If this were like vanilla WoW, where you had friends or guildies help you through all the tough stuff, then it would just be another hard fight with friends and guildies. But you are now trained that you can solo anything, but it may take a bit of work. Well, the final bosses are a little more work than what I'm prepared to do, since I use up all my credits in repair bills and that is not fun overall. Good game. Great storytelling. At times, hilarious responses. Fantastic writing. Bad ending though. Oh well. This makes real life more tolerable. And no... will not return to WoW. That game is still terribad.
  13. As with other games, the tank and healer spot is usually the one ppl are looking for. There will be loads of dps everywhere. Just find a group of ppl that maybe you can switch off on duties. I believe there will be dual spec in 1.2, so it won't cost so much to switch at that time. In the end, play the way you want to. You will find tanks and healers for your dps toons, and if you really want to play dps, then the quality of fights will make up for the quantity that you would get running something that you really do not want to play.
  14. Marauder is squishy. This class/spec is what makes a game fun. You have to really make your fingers bleed keeping all your defenses up on golds and sometimes silvers. After playing all four of the classes on the Imperial side, this one is hands down the most fun. That is, until you get to Voss, and have to deal with double silvers in the class quest. Then, it gets depressing since you either have to level up then come back, or ask for help. Between the dots and the damage, you really can't burn them down fast enough at the appropriate level. Just hope that the Baras fight isn't a pita like the Inq fight was with Thanaton. Also, healing stims are your saving grace. Like the post above, I used Vette until I got Jaesa, and haven't used any other since.
  15. Draggh was a ruthless fight. Died the second time, since I didn't know it was a 3 phase fight. After that, just let all my cds time out, then hit him a second and third time. It seemed easier the 2nd and 3rd time around though. I just looked at all my companions on the floor, especially Vette, and just built a personal fury up before I started. Then, it was just all I had to make my fingers bleed as a kept everything on cd and hit him over and over. Great fight though. I'd rather take on one overly weighted gold than twin silvers like the ones on Voss that cleaned my clock at the Pendant of Bone fight.
