I'll often be on Bruske, the tank I'm leveling currently. My wife is a properly geared and skilled operative healer, she doesn't forum much, but I'm pretty sure she'd always be up for this as well. I was actually just a few days away from posting a similar thread for our guild <Sith Happens>, we're small and it's tricky to get a full 8 ready and online sometimes. 8:30 on Friday is our raid night, my wife and I stumbled into leading things since we were reasonably hardcore raiders back in the day. Mostly newish players and recently returned players in our guild.

No kiddin? I would have thought that 9% to CS, FB, and armor pen would have trumped a 22.5% boost to project. I'll fiddle with that tonight. I wonder how huge a contribution that can be?

I've been tanking on my shadow rather comfortably for a while now. I decided to step out of my comfort zone yesterday to try dps on my shadow for a change of pace. As a calibration I fired up MoniTOR and hit the operations dummy on the fleet. Wearing full BM stalker gear I was producing ~900dps +-40. This seems low to me, and chatting with other folks I get the impression that that is indeed low, by about 30%. I'm using a 10/31/0 build, nothing fancy. No smuggler buff. So what am I probably doing wrong? My system was to spam clairvoyant strike, and project, force breech, shadow strike when their proc buffs were active. Am I mis-thinking things in some fundamental way? To me a 30% discrepancy speaks to some fundamental issue, either misunderstanding or misplaying. Thoughts? Help me shadows, you're...well not my only hope, but one of my hopes. EDIT: Maybe infiltration just stinks? That'd be a shame, that twirly lightsabre is fun.

Apparently two more REs was all I needed. And happily the artifact version is a decently useful one so I'm content. With the time investments on resource gathering and crafting I can't quite get myself in the mindset of filling out all my purple recipes. But my inner completionist sure wants to.

I've been working on upgrading a Critical Dark Synth Waistband into something Artifact level (T2 upgrade I think. It's a level 49 green item at base, RE'd this version, looking for one more upgrade.) and I'm starting to wonder if it's bugged. I estimate I've RE'd between 50 and 70 of them with no RE proc. Random is random and all that, but I'm looking for someone, anyone, to confirm for me that this piece can indeed go all the way to artifact level. I didn't have too much trouble with the set's bracers, but I'm losing faith with the belt. I don't quite trust Torhead since it seems to be full of beta data as well. Any pointers to another data collation site would also be great.

I dig the system they're using here. I likely won't get in until one of the last few waves, that's fine by me. Just my 2 credits.
