This has went better than I'd hoped with some good ideas. Close games are much more fun even if you loose. I do agree cross server would be the best answer, but we've been told no\ not any time soon. I think equal que priroity may be a good step & want to add an idea. Adjust the match making for people with out a mastered ship. Would have to be tied to a certain amount of req so it's not exploited. A real tutorial would be huge gain as we'll. Verin my intent was not a,"protect me thread." Playing against strong competion is fun, educational, & makes you a better pilot. Getting / giving curb stomps less to know fun. I do enjoy GSF to the point of leveling some alts to look for a more active community. My intent was wanting more people to play. The vet pilots that are active posters are a true resource to the community, but we all need to remember that most players never come to the forums. I've suggested a link to the gsf posts about ships & tactics be added to the tutorial . Here is some QQ getting curb stomped because you are effective at all is like getting a colonoscopy ....

I know it's a dead horse and there's a vocal group that will oppose it . The biggest way to increase participation is to have a two tier system. Solo only and a mixed que for solo group play. The majority of players who hate GSF would give it another shot or not drop out if the premade farming was reigned in. GSF is going the route of wow's pvp before blizzard implemented twink only brackets. Interestingly the players who so vocally shouted on thier fourms that all they wanted was good competition quit playing when that's what they got... Playing against equal compitition and not being fed noob food.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. Adjusting my mouse has helped a lot . Will be working on shooting more and dodging less. I started rebuilding my clarion as a heavy strike and am liking it a lot more. Dying less and killing more.

Been playing abit and am living long enough to enjoy the game. Being hunted is making me a much better pilot as far as defensive flying. The issue and question involves shooting. Any tips on it? Can fly fairly well but can not shoot worth crap! I think i was being schooled by Stasi on TEH the other night, it was ... educational & fun.

When I first tried GSF and was getting farmed quit. This was not fun. With more thought and wanting to like it came here, read the guides & when we had the ship sale bought a bomber. I liked the more tactical play, but more importantly it allowed me to live long enough to see what was going on and get a feel for the game. As I've improved am playing strike with some success on an alt. Some sort of training ground where new players could fly around with some targets might ease the learning curve a bit. Finally a thank you to all of you who took the time to post here and in game to help the noobs.

I've read some of the treads and found a lot of good information. My question is when tanking enhancements become available at 27 do I stack the defense ones? And if so do does the end game gear when you start stacking absorb? Am playing a sin and loving it. Thanks in advance & too the sharing of vvvcheese and others. Forgot have a set of absorb augments for lv 25 if that makes any difference.

I wish they did carry over, what I did was screenshot my adjusted ui the copy it onto the new character. I like to have the same keybinds and drop the class skillls in them

Tuesday it was no big deal to make alts/switch between them. Now it's taking 3-5 min to load. I'm enjoying the game and will keep playing. That said come on this is not acceptable.
