I've got my madness Assassin up to 40, and I can say I've had alot of fun leveling. I do wish I had more 30 meter skills. Especially crushing darkness. Its really meant to be a melee/ranged hybrid, but in the beginning, you really aren't good at either and that can create problems. Right now, I hardly use my dots at all, except for elites and bosses. Death field, shock, assassinate takes care of most of the low level enemies.

you don't get orange versions from reverse engineering. You get blue and purple. I use a orange Iron Man mask, and just keep the mods up to date. Check torhead again for epic lvl 50 gear. the prototype set is all from crafting. I am also not a fan of the football helmet look.

It depends entirely on what type of mobs I'm fighting as to what I open with. I usually open with death field, followed by slam( or whatever its called) Then I pick a target and use shock..then assassinate. If they are stronger, I throw in thrash, use crushing darkness when its an instant attack, and stun and use tumult/assassinate. For boss mobs, I want Ashara to get aggro, so I open with all my DoTs/interupts..melee and repeat. The idea is to pull aggro from her before she dies, but not too soon or they will kill me. Ashara isn't the most ideal companion, but I like her the best, so I make due... I just turned 40, so I got my top tier talent. I will open with that, then death field from now on.

yup, this happens to me alot. You finally get a skill to rid yourself of all effects, so you can use that before you stealth and you will be ok. but sometimes your companion won't get so lucky and will drag you back into combat. If you are lucky, your companion will be dead before you have to use it

it is possible for him to pre-order later, and still get in early, if he joined the right guild. All the guilds got in first...well at least that's what I was lead to believe.

11 It wouldn't be so bad if BW handled the launch better, and gave people an estimate of when they would get in the game. I think my anxiety to get in is greater than my desire to play, just so I can say I got in, and I don't have to wait anymore.

you can always change servers, and try your name there...unless you are locked in with a guild.

I ordered july 22...got today off...and still waiting. BW totally fails for the way they are handling launch. They should have given us a time frame. I feel like I will be wasting most of my day off just waiting in front of my computer....blah.
