Judging by the lack of mention anywhere, can I safely assume that we as a community have given up all hope we will ever get a dramatic and positive change to the "on rails" space system? I know it has been a long shot for anything to happen in this area since the developers have blown it off since beta, but I figured I would ask the broader group before putting the final nail in this coffin.
