it's funny how you have to have a top notch rig to run an mmo scalability? good performance with modest hardware? that's for the weak... i have fps issues and the problem is my phenom II x4. this game likes intel only.

hell no. i don't feel this as good as vanilla wow or later at its peak. i could puke from the korean design/graphics of guild wars 2 but at least it seems to have a much-much better pvp system. also its free so you can't say waste of money on subs

well said although a bit tl;dr. it's infuriating to still have fps issues (560ti, phenomII x4, 8 gigs ddr3 ram) even on the lowest settings pvp is still around 25 fps, ilum is 1 digit. and don't start with the "you should have a better hardware" because mmos should be extremely scalable. even if it was a good game with actual content and good pvp system (don't care about pve) the fps issue would still kill it. waste of money on this whole thing.

i hoped i wouldn't have to say this but i guess there's only GW2 left in the not too distant future as a promising mmo in pvp aspect. though i hate it's stupid korean style... well at least no fees

pve and pvp it should be separated like church and government. im not a fan of pve but it seems to me even nightmare operations are too easy, to me it should be about worldfirst and serverfirst bosskills . besides that i dont see the point of pve-ing. pvp is a long term fun on the other hand. you should play because its fun and not for grinding. you still have to get pve gear for pve, you only get pvp gear for pvp so i dont see your point...

there are countless issues with this game, balance is not one of them. in this aspect they made a really good job IMO. every mmo has a slightly op class which changes with every patch. after operative/scoundrel nerd the OP classes are sorc/sage and assassin/shadow. full time healers and tanks in team(!) pvp still suck

by looking at it tactics is supposed to be the pvp spec. yet its useless in pvp. never seen anyone using high enegy cell. i tried it and its horrible, u just keep waiting on cd-s and low dam output. ideas?

it will be implemented in the future, it's a musthave in mmo's nowadays (GW 2 will roll out with arenas)

i heard def talent in pvp is useless since the shielding has a cooldown also crits pass by it. it is obvious that tactics was supposed to be the pvp tree but sadly as for now it's completely useless maxed out

the most stupid thing about this is that both US and EU have maintenance at the same time which makes it for US too early and EU too late. at least i wanted to play a few hours before I go irl but servers down again. In over a month I'm like over 1-2 days played lost because of poor maintenance time. It should always start from 2-3AM.

yes that's the answer you have to wait for content (I'm waiting for arena) so just cancel subscription until that happens and give it a whirl then.

i want arena before my subscription ends just for ***** and giggles (also to reminisce about good old WoW arena. those were the days...)
