  1. Nope was originally RP-PVE. but when the server numbers got cut and folks got merged a lot of RP-PVP'ers were put on Progenitor, so we now have a fairly healthy RP PVE and RP PVP population these day and for the most part everyone gets on nicely.
  2. Nice. Odd that they made Progenitor RP rather than leaving it RP-PVE then. curiouser and curiouser.
  3. I concur. Thanks Bioware, the 1000 coins is appreciated.
  4. It was originally listed as an RP-PVE server and then they consolidated the servers and it was just labelled RP after that but that is because they took away the RP PVe and RP PVE labels and just left RP. As their are no RP PVP servers it is to be expected that those PVP'ers who also RP would play on an RP server.
  5. Im no programmer so I may well be talking out my rump but im afraid I don't really see "how" more than 25 would affect performance. Thinking about it logically as a non programmer I would assume for a quest to affect performance it would have to be actively tracked (and therefore using system resources) paying attention "if" an enemy killed or objective passed is of relevance to the quest. correct? If so, then I'm afraid I don't see the issue as you cannot pick up more than a dozen quests at any time on any one planet. So there is never likely to be more than say a dozen NEEDING to be actively tacked. The rest are essentially inactive and non relevant either being off world, or for some op, flashpoint, daily/weekly etc.. which only apply situationally and when in the relevant places for them to be tracked. So unless the game is treating EVERY one of the 25 you pick up as active ALL THE TIME even when your not on the worlds or locales relevant to them then im not really seeing how being able to have more than 25 in the log is a performance affecting issue? And if that IS the case then surely it would be better to only actively track what is relevant to the mpa you are on and having it make checks to see if what is relevant has changed in order to alter what is active whenever you change map, phase or whatnot.. in that way the actively tracked workload remains consistant but you are able to have way more quests in the log? Or am I WAAAAY off base in my logical thinking of the issue?
  6. Im not sure the easiest way to fix a double xp bonus I don't want is to force a character to have to unmod. The easiest way to remedy it is to make the bonus TOGGLABLE.
  7. Now a Rancor with a blue chicken in its mouth (legs sticking out maybe a few feathers).. that mount I'd buy lol
  8. Loving the Volo speeder that has a very retro sci fi feel to it.
  9. I agree nothing stops you doing the content but it is less enjoyable when the content involves nothing that can harm you because your completely out levelled for it. Double Xp can do that to you real easy Once all the risk goes so does some of the enjoyment.
  10. I don't hate double xp weekends but I do wish we could at least toggle the bonus off Some of us enjoy the journey not just the destination and speed levelling makes enjoying the journey (for some us) less enjoyable.
  11. FOUR types of people annoy the hell out of me in Flashpoints (and in any grouping situation in general). 1. Those who join and then go AFK continually. I mean seriosuly occasional afk is acceptable, frequent..NOT AT ALL if you can't devote the time to the group activity then get the frak out the queue and give your space to someone who can. Because although your afk may be necessary to you its nothing but a total INCONVENIENCE to everyone who is in a group activity to get something done. 2. those who join and then leave halfway through for whatever reason be it because someone does some stupid, or they don't get the loot they want or whatever.. Once you commit, sack up and get it done, don't take your ball and run home like a baby. 3. Those who spend more time telling people how to pay THEIR classes rather than paying ANY attention on how to play their own. Some people just think their rotation is better than everyone else's or that their knowledge of a class is more important and relevant than anyone else's. Seriously you pay our sub you can tell us how to play, until then mind your frakking business and play your own character. 4. Those who assume everyone is in a mad rush and want to skip all quests in them and just get to the bosses and the loot. NO im afraid not, your rush is not mine. If I have stuff to do then I want to do it, i want to complete those quests you may have already done, I want to pick up those lore objects you may have already got, I want to have a look around that map you already know. I don't care if you've seen it a hundred time. I might not have. Don't assume want you want makes what everyone else in the group wants irrelevant. Have a bit of consideration. (I'd even go sar far as to say i'd like some additional choice options for the queue that takes into account whether someone queueing wants to skip quests trash mobs, poi's, dialogues etc.. because not all of us do and pressuring people to do so or kicking them if they don't is just not on). Beyond those three types of players the only one I find a little annoying is when NOONE says anything, not hi, how you all doing nothing.. just a total flashpoint or whatever in complete silence.. its uncomfortable. MMO's are supposed to be social, get some manners and say hi ffs.
  12. I know they have itemisation and clipping and language concerns with regard to other species but this is another thing people have be clamoring for since release MORE SPECIES and needs to be addressed eventually. All we've had so far is Cathar and they were about as close to human without actually being human as they could get. Togruta, Kel Dor, etc.. all need to make it into the game at some stage. For sure.
  13. Your missing the point and there is no way you can say for certain that everyone can earn enough as none of us know how much or even what currency if any they will require to obtain at all. My point is and remains whatever the method they NEED to be obtainable by all sizes and type of guilds irrespective of playstyle within a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable amount of effort. And as previously noted the most ideal way to do that is to have more than one type/size of Guild Flagship. And again perpetuating a grind of any sort for creds if indeed it comes down to creds is FAR from being a good or ideal way of doing it.
  14. Think of it this way your paying a sub to enjoy a game.. do you want to spend a year of that sub time purely grinding cash to enjoy a feature you helped pay to develop or would you sooner EARN the feature through relevant gameplay, while having fun in a more organic way that doesnt feel like a grind? Grinds have become FAR too much of an accepted convention in todays MMO's but they don't add to enjoyment they detract from it. This feature is intended for guilds, whatever thier size and whatever thier type and so should provided the benefits in a way that is condusive to HOw they are already playing and enjoying the game thier sub pays for. Not require a monumental grind by all concerned in order to have it.
  15. Until they add some PVE content to GSF they can stick it in a cannon and fire it into the sun for all I care personally. It was a bad idea to aim space content at only one faction of gamers I.e PVP especially when ALL wanted some space content from the get go.
  16. I'm afraid the highlighted comment of Mr Musco's regarding Guild Flagships being something to strive for left me feeling that they are not working on the same assumption as yourself. Though i'd be more than happy for them to prove me wrong My suspicion is that we simple will NOT have access to them at all until we have earned/purchased/gained access to them and the implication thus far has been that that will be costly and if indeed access is simply a matter of credits then large guilds (as in populous guilds) and those whose playstyles involve a lot of credit earning activities will obviously end up being favoured by such a system. But that would be wrong as the feature is meant to be for guilds as in ALL guilds. And so should as I've made point in my posts be attainable and accessible within reasonable time and effort to ALL sized guilds of ALL playstyles. And the only way I can see that happening in a way that is fair is by having different grade and cost of Guild Flagships e.g Thranta for small, Hammerhead for Medium, Valor for Large etc.. As then everyone instantly has access to something affordable to them based on thier size and activities out of the gate. As long as there is NiM content, every buff is important.
  17. See this would be an ideal fix for me. Different Scales of Guild Flagship. You could have had smaller capital ships like say Hammerhead Cruiser (e.g. Endar Spire) or Thranta Class (e.g. Brentaal Star) for Republic and S Class Cruisers or Terminus Class Destroyers for the Sith Empire act as Guild Flagships for Small or Medium guilds. Less size, possibly less options/functionality but more reasonable stepping stones in cost and time to acquire and within the reach of smaller or medium sized guilds to build from in order to reach the higher stepping stones down the line of the larger announced Harrower (sith) and Valor class (republic) cruisers for Guild Flagships. This would then accomodate ALL guild sizes by enabling them to enjoy this feature by providing them an option within thier respective budgets while also providing them a means to upgrade at a later date. Rather than the system as it stands with just the two options which is likely to exclude all but the large guilds for QUITE some time, which is essentially going to be a slap in the face to most of the people who are paying for this features creation because they aren't likely to have access to it ANY time soon. which would be true IF guild size were all that mattered but as I've mentioned before not all guilds have the same aims. What about say Social guilds or Roleplay guilds or Casual guilds. They are all types of guilds who would love something like a Guild Flagshi and are paying subs etc.. but the nature of thier enjoyment of the game isn't likely to have involved running endless op's or warzones or flashpoints in order to have garnered a gajillion creds. How are they going to get Guild Flagships and why doesnt the system take them into account from the get go? Are credits all that matter, really? Can thier be no more sensible, fair and condusive system to allow guild ships to be earned by guilds of ALL types and ALL sizes without reducing it to a cred grind? As it stands this is a feature many of us, myself included have been crying for since PRE release, but are unlikely to have access too, because although were paying for it with our subscriptions apparently we aren't rich enough in game to be allowed access to it. That doesn't real; leave you feeling like you subscription is valued UNLESS you belong to a huge guild, does it. And that's pretty wrong on many levels. I seriously doubt the buff will be of any great significance, especially when most of us have buff scrolls and class buffs out of the wazoo already. I mean really how many more buffs to make the game even easier do we need?
  18. I concur. And stack sizes for something (crafting stuff) needs increasing too.

    Walkers

Well we've now got beast mounts, which is awesome and we have swoops, speeder bikes, landspeeders and other repulsorlift type craft.. but we are still missing the one major vehicular type of the star wars universe. WALKERS!!!! I would like to see walkers added. And no I don't mean At-AT sized vehicles or even AT-ST's but more along the lines of the AT-PT's we've seen them numerous times in the movies, cartoons, read about them in the books, seen them in the comics... now we just need the MMO to catch up. thanks
  20. Could be worse I was almost certain it would be renamed DISNEYLAND PARIS lol j/k
  21. I've been over this threads Dev posts a number of times since this thread was made and no they havent repeatedly stated such a thing indeed info on expected pricing has been largely nil beyond the guilds will have to work for it quote. Im impressed your smallish guild has managed to gather such a sum but if you think having that amount of cash on hand for a guild of your size or smaller is normal I think your deluding yourself a little. But that aside the point I'm making is that when guilds are not STANDARD in size or role, to include a feature for "guilds" (not groups) that has been requested by us since before launch and since that it absolutely HAS to take into consideration the fact that this feature is something we are ALL paying for to be developed via our subs so should be reasonably accessible to ALL guilds, irrespective of size or activity. Guilds simply should not be treated differently or beneficially simply because they are large. Guilds serve a sole purpose i.e to bring players together for common cause. There is no greater meaning to that purpose for a guild with 500 than there is a guild with 4 or 5. A guild is a guild is a guild. It would be bad to set a precedent where guild features are exclusive or exponentially easier for larger guilds because that implies they see smaller guilds as being less valuable or worthwhile and yet I assure you the worth and value of our subscribers £/$ are no different. I should further clarify that statement as to say that does not mean it should be free or necessarily easy or quick to get, but it DOES need to be attainable by ANY guild of ANY size and of ANY type of activity within a reasonably sensible time period and for a reasonably sensible amount of time and effort. Frankly I'd prefer it not be attained or upgraded by credits at all as that makes no sense as far as the IP goes, better instead to have attainable via a rep or commendation system that implies it is a reward for efforts to your respective faction instead that you have earned by doing things for your respective faction. And that would also be more in line with how most faction related rewards work in the game atm anyway.
  22. Then I hope you guys have the foresight to include more than one way to obtain them as most guilds are not HUGE guilds, most are relatively small. My guild for example has been around since before launch, and were still subscribed but we are only half a dozen people. We are FAR from rolling in gajillions of creds despite the ridiculous number of 55's between us all. If you put silly price tags or methods of acquirement on them then guild flagships will just end up the territory of big guids, which will just be a slap in the face to everyone else (i.e the upteen millions of small guilds like my own). Something to consider.
