  1. Love the idea of new content - but what about bug fixes?

    Following a person doesn't work.

Satele Shan has been small in JK quest on Tython.

Tons of quests you have to drop and reget to make them work.

Guild problems (we still have no guild leader - and it's been 3 days since I put in a ticket...)

    Memory leaks on Taris...

and the list goes on and on...

I'm sorry, but if you guys want to compete with WoW - start fixing crap that shouldn't be broken.

Oh yea write code to fix that stuff in the 3 days the game was out, yeeaaa okay

  2. Huttball is there to alleviate the obvious faction imbalances.

Allowing people to que around it defeats that purpose.

Enjoy your Huttball or switch factions. Be a part of the solution and not part of the problem.

Honestly, all instanced pvp should be red/blue. That's the only thing they can do really considering people seem to be determined to be "bad guys" and that desire isn't going to balance itself.

PPl who don't like huttball generally don't like to work together, U will lose the entire time if there isn't teamwork. Its not tedious at all it just requires you to pay attention and use tactics. I agree with the above quote, u want a queing system when half the players arent even past level 20 and some are getting into the 30s. If ur getting steamrolled by the same level 50s change up ur time between ques, leave the bg that they are in, there are other solutions to that problem. I hate long que times and my server is balanced so I get the entire rotation and the option to quest or pvp at will. Its week one and ur crying like wow noobs that a raid is to hard and needs to be nerfed, or we need to ban mages. If U don't like the pvp go quest till you get where want to get. Again blame the imbalance or ur friends who all want to roll sith, if BO decided to limit the number of sith then you would QQin about that.

  3. Yea apparently no one has ever play low level wow pvp lol, where u have brackets and u still get one shotted by rogues all the way up to level 65 then two shotted a level 70. Remember the almighty hunter and how he destroys everything in his path? Feral pwnage? Unkillable DKs, An the almighty mage! lets not forget the days of the treeform druid where it took whole teams to tackle on lowbie healer. I see a lot of complaining about the barrier, yes its annoying BUT it keeps u from getting spawn camped IE WSG, Regulates how long before u can get back to the battle IE rez time in wow. It also promotes teamwork, granted I think the medals should reflect this more but that is not an issue. I do think the stuns are a bit much, consider the almighty sith caster that stuns u and kills u during the stun lol that is just wrong. I think they are wayy to long and are on par with a rogue stunlock in wow. I will say seeing that I have played both sides Imps do seem to hit harder. BUT I say all that to say this, blizzard never mastered lowbie pvp so should swtor have pulled it off in a weeks launch? NO if it was that bad ppl should have been more informative in beta. I like fast que times also its an easy way to make quick cash while u can constantly get ur crew skills up while ur having fun. Also a good way to level so u don't get tired of the same planet content. U can't blaance a game for low levels because its to unpredictable.
  4. Coming from someone who has rolled every healing class in wow at max level and pvp on them I will say we are op. Rez plus heals allows us to stay alive a lonnnggg time an can pretty much heal through anything. The only issue is when u go oom, that is how 99% of healers are killed. As for swtor healers that is a different story. Coming from a trooper gunner with mad face **** damage, I could not dps down the healer. Should I be able to? I dunno maybe but its unlikely one guy should be able to kill the healer. I think the stuns in the game need to be nerfed badly because that affects the healers and dps alike. I really don't want to see wow healers in swtor. They are OP anyone who says they aren't haven't met the once almighty holy pally and the unstoppable shammy. Priest are up there to, but all that being said. Nerf stuns fix UI and all will be well
  5. You do realize the name of the build is COMBAT MEDIC lol, it's meant for emergency healing an works better if u attempt to help ur target take down the enemy. Standing back and healing is not what a real combat medic does, so yes ur heals aren't mobile all and ppl can dps you down because thats the design of an actual medic. U don't weild the force so are reliant on other devices to get you through the fight. Remember this and you will not be a fail healer trying to heal like like a Jedi. Fight and heal when needed in pvp stand still an heal in pve WINNING
  6. Gunner is not for pugs imo, it melts face but the cast times and mobility are the death of it. If you know how to play and ur in a pug you will more than likely be defending something by urself thats just the nature of the beast. Unless ur about kills then ur pretty much screwed. I rolled AS to see how that works out so far its looking decent. Not getting los as often and uber mobile
  7. I love gunner but it requires to long of a casting time and the ccs are weak. AS allows me to run and gun, which inturn allows for me to los big attacks and also chase ppl down with ease. Granted you will not see the smash mouth of the gunner style damage lol.
  8. After 26 levels of gunner play I will try out AS because like previously said if ur not playing baddies ur gonna have to move ALOT, which gunners cant do. Yes u **** but u get ***** more than u **** lol. Constant channeling is a problem considering u have to sit in melee range to get a good shot off. The slow effect is no good because they can quicky close that gap before u get one Gav shot off. I put points in the knock back hoping it would do the trick but they still close in to fast. I will try AS and then post how I feel about it in PVP
  9. I'm not seeing armour value at play in this game. I understand that you put everyone on the same level but cloth wears should still take more damage than a plate wearer. Also trooper cast times are insane, most of the time I cant be anywhere near the battle if I want to get off good attacks. Also I think ccs are way to long for force users, I get stopped completely and then when I get uncced I am slowed by every lighting strike
  10. I think that it is nvidia cards period. I have also had the same issues the whole time. I got it working fine with everything on max then swtor released a patch and im back to square one.
  11. I was okay with the whole he who preorders first gets in first type deal, but since thats not the case we are getting robbed. I say robbed in that in an mmorpg everything is a race. Who every gets the game first gets the best names, sets the prices on the market, and get to levels faster. Since I am a pvper this blows, Every time I step into a match guys will have better abilities than me while they won't hit harder it would just be unfair. I would have rather everyone got in at the same so we could fight for the good names and everything would progress evenly. Even if that same time was 20th. Right now these guys are getting an unfair advantage for no other reason than they were randomly picked. I'm sry Bioware but thats not how MMORPGS work.
