  1. Thank you for listening, Bioware <3
  2. Try lowering the price of the grade 6 mats you put up... On my server, one costs 4k while you get a min of 2(if the mission doesn't fail) for 2k. I'm not buying grade 6 stuff on the GTN because prices are dumb, so I made a slicer myself.
  3. Thank you that's a good point, I didn't really think of the clone syndrome
  4. I've never really played WoW but nice try your insult would work on maybe half SWTOR's playerbase. All I'm saying is that it makes no sense to be able to craft high end gear that's level 20. Sure you can look however you want with an appearance set or even a more casual set(not augmented items) if you want that, but to me it makes no sense for high end gear to be level 20; as I said before, it kills the purpose of crafting augmented level 50 custom gear Oh look I'll try a bad insult too: If you care that much about the appearance of your character you might as well just play barbie
  5. uh there's plenty of items for every classes that you get from doing quests and loot on mobs, not only orange stuff. They would also need to add lvl 10,30 and 40 orange schematics
  6. And why would changing your gear every once in a while be a bad thing? That's the whole point of having tiers! High end players can buy lvl 10 augmented armors for next to nothing, even though they're the high end pieces of equipment and that doesn't make any sense to me.
  7. Hey all, I've started crafting weapons again since patch 1.2 and there's something I find odd with the custom gear you can craft. You can craft augmented lvl 20 armors that are the exact same as the lvl 50 ones, which costs much more to make. I understand the only reason I would craft lvl 50 weapons instead of 20s would be for the skin... I don't think that's worth it at all! I believe lvl 20 augmented orange items will sell for much cheaper since they're cheaper & faster to make, so it kills the purpose of making lvl 50 items(Unless the guy wants the skin) Here's my suggestion: Add an item level requirement for mods! You'd only be able to put certain level of mods/augments into a certain item level. Item level 20: you can put mods up to level 30 Item level 50: you can put mods up to level 60 thoughts?
  8. I've been using an hybrid saboteur/DF spec with about equal point in both trees and it's not viable. In PvP: You'll have a HUGE damage output, crazy AoE(My Freighter Flyby did 3.4k damage when it crit), grenades every 4 seconds... But you'll have no viable burst damage. In PvP, it's so easy for a healer to cleanse/heal an ally with debuffs/dots. I could do 500k damage in warzones, but I realized the numbers didnt matter as I couldn't kill anyone in teamfights because of my low burst damage. In PvE: Your party will want to stab you in the face. Twice. You always end up getting the aggro if you use AoE because people are uncomfortable and will always go for strats where you CC two mobs in a linked fight instead of blowing everything up with AoE. If you decide to throw a grenade, you take the aggro. If you decide to only go for single target damage, you're useless(Although your DoTs can deal some damage). I respecced back into Sharpshooter and I find myself much more useful in Warzones again. It's so much better to pick off a healer in 6-10 seconds instead of dealing "minor" damage in an AoE. My damage output decreased a lot (from 500k to 250-300k), but dealing less global damage doesnt mean you're less usefull. Plus in PvE you can actualy help killing bosses.
  9. Cross servers and valor brackets
  10. Are you kidding me? It's not that we like fighting nearby our base, it's just that there's absolutely no way for us to get our daily done within 5 hours because we're always outnumbered by imperials. Big "fair" fight at the middle? More like 20v10 and you get all the kills.
  11. Here are my rewards from pvp bags for the past week: 5x offhand weapon 3x chest armor 5x relic Nothing else. I get nothing out of most of the bags I open. When I get an item, I already have it ten thousand times already. This makes me so freaking mad, they're not rewarding dedicated players who play a lot, they're rewarding *********** lucksacs. I've been doing a lot of PvP, I had most of my set (Except boots and hat, which I haven't found in roughly 50 bags) but now I respecced and I need a different set to optimize my damage. I respecced last week, in all the bags I've got, I could only use one (One of the 3 chest armors). I've played a LOT. It took me quite a hell amount of time to get my pvp bags because I get most of the time queued with complete *******... I should've taken a screenshot of that one game where I was 1st in damage, then 2 to 7 were from the other team, and 8 was my brother, who's a god damned HEALER. I feel like the most important thing in any MMO is to reward players for actualy playing. I don't want to play lotery. I want to play a good game. How hard is it to give tokens instead of stupid luck based ********? This makes me mad like no other game. Reverse engineering is just as dumb. 6 days of constant reverse engineering to get some utter **** purple item? **** off.
  12. I love the way energy works with smugglers and troopers. It's so rewarding when you manage your energy the right way while you are insanely crippled if you spend everything right away. The difference between a gunslinger and a great gunslinger shouldn't be who is able to roll his face on the keyboard more than the other. The way energy works is great as you MUST think about what you're doing, and what you'll be doing in two seconds. Spend too much energy at once: your DPS will have a high peak, but will drop down drastically for the next 10 seconds. Spend not enough energy: your energy will be at its cap and you'll lose a precious amount of time you could be using to fire up an ability. You have to play smart, you won't get away with it if all you do is spam charged burst then auto attack until your energy is maxed. I feel this energy system is much more rewarding for people who will take time to work on their rotations and think while they're fighting.
  13. You should read everything in the skilltree and spend the points yourself. Why follow a guide? Make your own stuff!
  14. Just pick up whatever you loot that allows you to kill mobs without dying.
